AIKENS
MRS. MAMIE ‘WILLIAMS’ BALLARD
Homegoing celebration for Mrs. Mamie “Williams” Bal- lard of Tampa, who passed away Friday, September 11, 2015, will be held Saturday, September 19, 2015, at 2 p. m. at Mt. Moriah P. B. Church, 1225 N. Nebraska Ave., Dr. B. R. Fulton, pastor, officiating. The interment will be in Rest Haven Memorial Park Ceme- tery.
Mrs. Mamie “Williams” Bal- lard was born on May 14, 1927 to the late Jimmie Williams and Mary Felton in Byromville, GA. Mamie was educated in the Dooly County, Georgia, public school system.
She accepted Christ at an early age at Mt. Olive Baptist Church, Dooly County, GA. Sis Ballard was a faithful member of the Greater Mt. Moriah P. B. Church in Tampa, where she served dutifully with the Sanc- tuary Choir, Senior Mission and to the Sunday School Class #2 until her demise.
Mamie was joined in mar- riage to the late David Turner, Sr. and to this union four chil- dren were conceived. She thor- oughly enjoyed life and lived it to the fullest. She owned and operated the B & B Restaurant, Montezuma, GA, and also worked as a school bus driver.
Later her family moved to Tampa, where she delivered meals to the elderly for Meals on Wheels, and served a grand- parent aide for elementary stu- dents.
Mamie served her family and the community through her love of cooking (especially her dressing). She was known for taking care of her family members and foster children in their time of need. She loved to sing her favorite church song “A Charge”. She loved to dance and was truly the life of the party. She loved spending time with family (especially grandchildren), The Sisters Club and the Tampa Bay Red Hat Sassy Sisters.
On September 11, 2015, Mamie entered into eternal rest and went to be with the Lord.
She was preceded in death by: husband, Clarence Ballard; parents, Jimmie and Mary Williams; son, Jesse L. Turner; and daughter, Mary Turner Sampson.
She leaves to mourn: her children, sons, David Turner, Jr. (Luvenia), and Charlie Turner (Deloris); grandchil- dren, Leroy Sampson, III (Darlene), Crystel Sampson- Archer (James), Tara Turner, Jason Turner, Andrea Turner, Marcus Turner, Dreana Turner and Jesse A. Turner; great grandchildren, Kierra, Brenton, Renard, Alecia, Rane- cia, Ralph, JT, Malik, Samya, Jair, Mariana, Tiesha, Iesha, Jaliyah, Jakari, Jashaun, Omarie and King; sister-in- law, Sylvia Williams; godson, Walter Niles; and host of
nephews, nieces, cousins and friends near and far whom are among the Williams, Felton, Turner, Ballard and Young Families and her Epiphany Arms Apartment Family.
The visitation will be held at Mt. Moriah P. B. Church on Friday, September 18th from 5- 8 p. m. and the family will re- ceive friends from 5:30-6:30 p. m.
The family and friends are asked to meet at the church on Saturday for the service.

Debra graduated from Plant High school c/o ’81. She worked for the Tampa Tribune and the U.S. Today newspaper.
Debra enjoyed reading, working puzzles, watching T. V., and working on her puzzle book.
She was preceded in death by: mother, Lula Mae Denni- son; grandparents, Luvenia Dennison and Charlie Denni- son; sister, Bereyln Diane Den- nison; brother, Richard Robinson and Clarence Denni- son; uncles, Robert, Verdell Bennie Dennison, Jimmy Pat- terson and Sammie Lee Denni- son; and aunts, Verona, Collins and Louise Manning.
She leaves to cherish her precious memories with: her son, Embry K. Washington; brothers, Curtis S. Dennison (Delores), Gary Robinson and Cedric Dennison (Josephine); sisters, Lillie Dennison Aikens, Cheryl Dennison and Joyce Bellamy (Willie); aunts, Helen Smith, Citra, FL, Ida Mae Pat- terson, Reddick, FL, and Edna Dennison, Tampa; 28 nieces, including, Latasha and Rochanda; host nephews and a host of other cousins and rela- tives; 41 cousins; godsister, Ka- trinia; friends, Carol, Joanne Dundley, Lora Showers and Reggie and a host of others family and friends.
The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Fri- day, September 18th from 5-8 p. m. The family will receive friends from 5-6 p. m.

MR. JESSIE H. JAMES
Graveside service for Mr. Jessie H. James of Riverview, FL (formerly of Northview Hills), who passed away Mon- day, September 14, 2015, will be held Thursday, September 17th, 12 p. m. at Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery. The interment will follow.
Jessie was born October 16, 1941 to the late Joseph James and Bessie Brinson-James in Valdosta, GA. He was an Or- dained Deacon in the Pente- costal Church of God, Tampa.
He was preceded in death by: his, father, Joseph James; and brothers, Frank James, Willie C. James and Elijah James.
Elder James leaves to cher- ish his memories with: his wife of 48 years, Rutha; 10 children from the oldest to the youngest, Charisse (Frank) Oliver of Carrollwood, Jeffery (Lisa) of Apollo Beach, Jerrold (Zanice) of Atlanta, Patrece Reese (Chadwick) of Savan- nah, Shandrece (Willie) of Winter Haven, Jerome of Ft. Lauderdale, Jason of Tampa, Deniece Paige (Shay) of Tampa, Justin (Elizabeth) of Sarasota, and Alysse Swiney (Joseph) of Atlanta.
Other family members to cherish his memory are: his mother, Bessie James of Way- cross, Georgia; brother, Phillip (Gwen) of Savannah, Georgia; sisters, Sylvia Johnson (Joseph) of Waycross, and Schneshia “Ann” of Waycross; sister-in-law, Clara Cobb (Jimmy) of Tampa; Raymond White and wife of Ocala, FL; 25 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild; and a host of un- cles, aunts, nieces, cousins, and the entire body of the Pen- tecostal Church of God.
The family and friends are asked to meet at the graveside on Thursday for the service.

A homegoing celebration for Mrs. Sydonie Veronica Walker of Tampa, who passed away on Friday, September 4, 2015, will be held on Friday, September 18th, at 10 a. m. at Faith Out- reach Church, 7607 Sheldon Rd., Dr. George Walters, Jr., pastor, officiating. The inter- ment will be in Sunset Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Sydonie was born October 24, 1943, in St. Mary, Jamaica. She was of the Baptist faith. She enjoyed socializing, knit-
ting, cooking and sewing.
She was preceded in death by: her parents, Erik Haughton and Claris May Davidson McIntosh; sister, Sonja McIn- tosh; and brothers, Newton
Blake and Linton Haughton. She leaves to cherish her memories with: her children, Andrea Wisdom, Audrey Walker and Martin Walker; grandchildren, Dean Wisdom, Curtis Wisdom, KenJiah Hamilton Walker and Jayden Walker; great grandchild, soon to come; brother, Lancelot McIntosh; sisters, Marvine Thompson and Pauline McIn- tosh-Ellis; uncle, Alcise David- son; 14 nieces and 13 nephews; special friends, Lydia Shirley, Adassa Batchelor and Doreen Wilkes; and a host of other rel-
atives and special friends.

MRS. ANGELA JOHNSON-EVANS ‘BEE ANGIE B’
Funeral services for Mrs. Angela Johnson-Evans “Bee Angie B”, who went home peacefully to be with the Lord on Tuesday September 8, 2015, surrounded by her fam- ily, will be held on Saturday, September 19th, at 2 p. m. at Christ Fellowship Church, 300 E. Sligh Ave., Pastor Bruce Moore, with Pastor Rodney B. Williams of People of Hope Ministry, officiating. The inter- ment will be in Orange Hill Cemetery.
Angela was born December 6, 1963 in Nashville, Georgia. She was the daughter of the late, Paul Johnson and Melva Jean Johnson. She attended the public schools of Hillsbor- ough County and graduated from Robinson Senior High School. She also attended Busi- ness College in Tampa, Florida.
She was blessed with a har- monious spirit and Angie brought laughter to family, friends and to all that knew her. She enjoyed being with her grandchildren and touched the lives of many with her smile and sense of humor.
She was a member of People of Hope Ministry. She enjoyed the word and a good “Amen”!
Waiting to welcome her with open arms are: her loving mother and father, Mr. and Mrs. Paul (Melva Jean) John- son; and sister, Paula Jean Harvey.
Surviving her memory is: her loving husband, Calvin Evans; 3 children, Toccara Fe- liciano (J. R.), Sergio Hood and Mario Hood; her husband’s children, Lakeshia Evans, Calvin Evans, II, Deonte Evans, Earline Robinson and Breken- cur Hood Akins; a loving brother, Jeffery Johnson (Wanda), Fayetteville, NC; lov- ing sister, Sharon Strother (Edward), Paul Curtis John- son, all Tampa, FL; 7 grand- children, Destiny, Amaya, and Jayla Feliciano, Tanaya, Mari- anna, Rezore and Keimani Hood and Calvin Evans, III, all of Tampa; 7 nieces, Ashley, Shannon and Cierra Strother, all of Tampa, and Patrica Jean, Tiffany Wright, Persephanie Johnson, and Deborah John- son, all of Fayetteville, NC; 3 nephews, Edward Strother, Danny Harvey, both of Tampa, and Jeffery Johnson, Jr. of Fayetteville, NC; and a host of uncles, aunts, other relatives and friends.
