Police Investigate Triple Murder In Palm River

Detectives are currently investi- gating a triple murder that occurred last Thursday. The bodies were found inside a home after a fire was extin- guished.
According to the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office, shortly after 3 p.m., Thursday, officials responded to a fire at 6221 16th Avenue, South, in Palm River.
Members of the Hillsborough County Fire Department responded to the address in reference to a fire. When the fire was extinguished, they discovered the three bodies inside the home.
The dead has been identified as Derek Archie, who would have cel- ebrated his 32nd birthday on Monday, November 19th; 28-year-old Xavier Greene, and Ms. Haley Stone, 20. A Sheriff’s Office spokesperson said the victims died as a result of upper body trauma. The case is being inves- tigated as a triple murder.
According to police, detectives are currently searching for a silver, four- door sedan with a sunroof and no tint on the windows. The vehicle is be- lieved to be a 2008 Infiniti M35.
Police obtained video from cam- eras in the area and observed a man walking up to the house carrying what appeared to be a gasoline can prior to the neighbor observing the fire.
No additional information was available at press time and the inves- tigation is continuing.
