Women’s Intermediate Auxiliary Hosts Prayer Breakfast
Something Happens When You Pray was the theme of the Prayer Breakfast hosted by the Women’s Intermediate Auxiliary (WIA) of New Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church. CaSandra Washington is the President, and the Rev. Larry L. Roundtree, II is the Pastor.
The Prayer Breakfast was held on Saturday, September 29, 2018, in the church’s Rev. Dr. Walter J. Williams Life Center.
The featured speaker was Rev. Brian K. Brown of St. Mark M. B. Church, St. Petersburg. He presented a prepared course on “Something Happens When You Pray,” using Mark 7:25-30. He focused on three points: 1) the reasons for prayer; 2) the results of prayer; and 3) the rewards of prayer.
Also on the program were: Annette James, Deacon Archie Williams, Khalea Lynee and LaTanya Hayes. Jones Catering prepared the meal. (Photos by BRUNSON)
