The originally scheduled date for the opening celebration of the newly constructed Perry Harvey, Sr. Park was moved up one day because of the threat of inclement weather. Those who attended the afternoon event on Sunday, April 3, 2016 were met with bright sunshine – The perfect day for an afternoon outing. Hundreds attended the opening event.
