      C. Blythe Andrews, Jr. Public Library
 Dedication Is Sunday
The Dedication of the new C. Blythe Andrews, Jr. Public Library will take place on Sun- day, May 26, 2019, at 2 p. m. The library is located at 2607 E. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd.
The Andrews Family has been working closely with Andrew Brienbaugh, Di- rector of Library Services for Hillsborough County, and the Librarian for C. Blythe An- drews, Jr. Public Library, Ms. Raishra Bailey, for the cel- ebration of the new building.
The doors to the Library closed in 2017 to be demol- ished and rebuilt. The services were transferred to Cyrus Greene Community Center and Ragan Park Community Center.
The new building is in re- sponse to the changing needs of customers and the high usage. The Andrews family and the community assisted in the planning of the new building.
The library, which was built in 1994 as College Hill Public Library, was renamed in honor of C. Blythe An- drews, Jr., Chairman of the Board and lifelong journalist of the Florida Sentinel Bul- letin, in 2010.
The public is invited to come and see the “state of the art” structure.
