RAY WILLIAMS
MS. RONEISHA SHANICE JOHNSON
Ms. Roneshia Shanice “Nuke” Johnson of Tampa, passed away Friday, May 17, 2019. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, May 25 at 2 p. m. at New Greater Friendship Missionary Baptist Church, 3325 E. Emma Street, with Reverend Ronnie L. Murray, Sr., Pastor, officiating. Interment will fol- low in Orange Hill Cemetery.
Ms. Roneshia Shanice “Nuke” Johnson was a native and lifelong resident of Tampa. She was educated in the public schools of Hillsborough County and was a graduate of Middleton High School. “Nuke” was a free spirit and a free hearted person who loved everyone she came in contact with, especially her fam- ily whom she valued and loved deeply.
She was preceded in death by: her parents, Garland Hop- kins, Sr. and Anuska Johnson; grandparents, Albert and Lizzie Johnson, and Lucille Allen; step- sister, Antionette Parker; aunts, Alberta Fields and Yvonne Hill; cousins, Darrel Richardson, Jr. and Owanda Hicks.
She leaves to cherish her precious memories: her loving daughter, Ja’riah Joi Speights; loving and caring brothers, Savarse Johnson and Roosevelt Harmon; caring and loving step- father who raised her, Mr. Matthew Gilghrest; loving and caring step-sisters, Janetta Har- mon, Sharon Stokes, Roxanna (Otis) Parker, Lisa Parker, and Diedra Hopkins; step-brothers, Rome, Gladston, Harmon, Rickey Parker, Thomas Sim- mons and Garland Hopkins, Jr.; a special family friend, John Speights and mom, Tina; a host of nieces, nephews, loving and caring aunts, Catherine Coley, Barbara, Charlene, Carolyn Johnson, Ann Hill (Kenny), Al- freda, Brenda, Belinda Johnson; a host of loving cousins: the Johnson, Coley, Bailey, Field, Hicks, Andrews, Hudson, Blount, Brown, Ferrell, Stephen, Richardson, Hughes, Lumpkins and a host of loving family and friends.
The visitation for Ms. Roneshia Johnson will be held Friday, May 24th, from 6 p. m. to 8 p. m. at New Greater Friend- ship M. B. Church.

Joshua was so loving, caring, intelligent, handsome and funny. He was a leader and great exam- ple to his siblings and his cousins. Joshua loved the quote “People may not remember exactly what you did, or what you said, but they will always remember how you made them feel.” He always made sure that he let you know that he loved and appreciated you. He took time to make sure everyone around him was good. Joshua, you were loved by and touched the lives of so many peo- ple. You will truly be missed! THERE WILL BE NO PUBLIC VIEWING.

MOTHER CYNTHIA DORSEY PIERCE
Mother Cynthia Dorsey Pierce died peacefully in Tampa, Florida, on Friday, May 17, 2019, at the age of 70. Fu- neral services will be on Satur- day,May25,at1p.m.atSt. Mary Community Church, 901 E. Renfro St., Plant City, FL 33563, Minister Marionette Hollingshed, officiating, with Bishop Lawrence Livingston, Words of Comfort. All family and friends are welcome to at- tend and celebrate Mother Cyn- thia Dorsey Pierce’s life.
Mother Cynthia Pierce was a native and resident of Tampa, Florida. She was educated in the public schools of Hillsbor- ough County and was a gradu- ate of Middleton High School, Class of 1967. After high school, she gained employment at GTE and retired after thirty years of service. On May 7, 1972, she married the love of her life, Elder Alexander Pierce, Jr.
Mother Pierce served as First Lady of First Born Church of the Living God, Ft. Myers for 17 years until her husband’s ill- ness prevented him from Pas- toring. She later joined Anew Spiritual Temple, Tampa, FL. Mother Pierce was a devoted and caring wife until Elder Pierce’s transition to be with the Lord on July 21, 1999.
Mother Pierce was also pre- ceded in death by: her grand- mother, Dora Bell Gray; in-laws, Mr. and Mrs. Alexan- der (Ruth) Pierce, Sr.; brother- in-law, Billy Wesley and step-father, Herbert Rahmings.
She leaves to cherish her memory: a devoted daughter, Antionette Pierce; a caring granddaughter, Alexis Russ; great-granddaughter, Ah’layah Calderon; mother, Bessie Rah- mings; brothers, Clyde Dorsey and Henry (Ruby) Dorsey; sis- ters, Linda Dorsey; brothers-in- law, Stanley Wesley, Sr. and Joseph Pierce; sisters-in-law, Delores Price, Elouise Wesley, Beatrice Richardson, Betty Jean Dorsey, Yvette Dorsey and Sheryl Williams; bonus daugh- ter, Sharon Beckworth; bonus granddaughter, Azaria Beck- worth; godchildren, Lisa James, Johnny Luster, Denise Phillips Luster, LaToya Gra- ham, Derrick Hollingshed, Nicole Merritt, James Graham, Jerry McDonald; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and sorrowing friends and class- mates.

MR. PAUL ANDREW CHRISTY, III
Homegoing Celebration for Mr. Paul Andrew Christy, III will be held on Saturday, May 25, 2019 at 10 a. m. at Wilson Funeral Home, 3000 N. 29th Street Tampa, Florida, with Rev. W. D. Sims, officiating. Interment will follow in Or- ange Hill Cemetery, 4900 E. Chelsea Tampa, Florida.
Paul Andrew Christy, III, was born on June 4, 1998, to Paul Andrew Christy, Jr. and Treceda Cobbs-Christy in Tampa, Florida.
Mr. Christy was a graduate of King High School and was currently enrolled in Hillsbor- ough Community College studying business.
Paul will be remembered as a determined young man who was very caring, loving and fiercely loyal and a joy to all who knew him.
Paul went to be with our Heavenly Father on Friday May 10, 2019 at 6:32 a. m. at St. Joseph’s Hospital, in Tampa, Florida.
Paul was preceded in death by: his paternal grandparents, Paul Andrew Christy, Sr. and Thenecia Christy.
He leaves to cherish memo- ries of him with his loving par- ents, Paul, Jr. and Treceda Christy; two siblings, Aria and Chloe Christy; maternal grand- parents, Lloyd and Ella Cobbs; uncles and aunts, Mario (Dora) Green, Godfrey (Betty) Gipson, Willie Mae Cobbs, Calvin (Shirley) Cobbs, James (Jean) Strong, Harry (Nora) Strong, Shaun (Ollie) Strong, Lillie R.          Mr. Joshua K. K. Nichols- Roque’more of Tampa, passed away Sunday, May 12, 2019, from a fatal car accident. Memorial Services will be conducted Satur- day,May25,at11a.m.atthe Greater New Salem Primitive Baptist Church, 1605 N. Ne- braska Ave., Pastor Dr. Benjamin Curry officiating, Pastor Kenneth Caldwell of Now Faith Fellowship of Plant City, FL, eulogist. Repast will be held at Jesuit High School.
Mr. Joshua Nichols was a na- tive of Tampa, Florida, and was residing in Dallas, Texas over the last 10 months, working for Mi- crosoft. He attended Gorrie Ele- mentary, Stewart Middle Magnet and graduated from Middleton Magnet High School in the top 5% of his class. He was enrolled in the Engineering Program where he participated in ACE (Architect Construction Engineer) mentors. He was on the swim team, a member of Student Government and also played Varsity Basket- ball.
He attended Florida Interna- tional University (FIU) where he graduated with 2 degrees in 4 years. He earned a degree in Bachelor of Business Adminis- tration and a Bachelor of Arts in Information Technology. He also obtained 2 finance certifications: Banking and International Bank Management. After graduating from FIU in December 2017, he landed his dream job with Mi- crosoft as a Premier Field Engi- neer.
