‘Night Of The Arts’ Is
Ministry, Not A Production
The Night of the Arts” is “not just a production, it’s ministry,” its director would say. This is the 6th production that will be held on Saturday, December 2, 2017, 7 p. m. Doors open at 6 p. m. The event will be held at University Area Community Center.
This year’s theme is “The Blood Still Works.”
That’s why those who are participants in this pro- duction believe that it’s something that the commu- nity should see. It is being billed as an electrifying theatrical production, all under one roof. The evening will be filled with anointed dance and mime, spoken word and much more to bring inspiration, healing and restoration to all walks of life, while giv- ing the message of salvation.
“The Night of the Arts” is a God-inspired vision given to the Creative Director, Ms. Hope Radi- ance Boyd about 7 years ago.
Ms. Boyd is the owner and director of Yahweh in Motion Dance Company of the Arts Studio in Lutz. She teaches and mentors dancers in their respective gifting. A member of Harvest Time Ministries, where her father, Apostle David Boyd is the pastor, Ms. Boyd is also a playwright and is doing more theatri- cal productions.

For several years, Mrs. Shelia Shaw-Lillie was an advocate of Breast Cancer Awareness. And, she was also an advocate for the less fortu- nate.
Mrs. Shaw-Lillie
passed in April of this year. However, her son, Clarence “Rain” Lillie will not allow the tradition his mother began so many years ago to end.
On Thursday, November 23rd, Lillie will host the “First Annual Turkey Bowl Feeding the Less Fortunate For Thanks- giving.” The event will take place at the Blue House, 1806 N. Nebraska Avenue. The event will begin at 2 p.m.
Lillie said, “This was held annually before the passing of the beloved Mother Shaw-Lillie. She gave her time, her money, and the spirit to feed many good peo- ple, “her people,” as she
would say during the year. “This will be a feast like no other and we can’t thank everyone in the community who sponsors or donated to make this event possible. First, giving honor to God, and secondly, honor to my mother, this will be an annual event because if she were here today, she would be
doing the same thing.”
The Thanksgiving holi- days are a time when families come together and celebrate. However, many people in the community are less fortunate than others or homeless. He wants to reach this segment of the population who other- wise would not have a
Thanksgiving.
Lillie said his goal is to be
the force to do a little more to make people smile, even by just providing them a warm meal on Thanksgiving Day.
Anyone who would like to obtain more information or who would like to make a do- nation can contact Lillie at (813) 863-4689.
Ms. Boyd holds a degree in Dance and Fine Arts. She is currently seeking a Bachelor’s degree in Christian Theology at the Tampa Bay Bible College.
