52 STUDENTS AT SCHOLARSHIP AWARDS CEREMONY
The 5th Annual Awards Ceremony hosted by Hillsborough County was held last Thursday evening at Franklin Boys Preparatory Academy. County officials awarded $5,000 in scholarships to 52 students, assisting them in reaching their goals and recognizing them for their academic achievements and community service. The students recognized represented 16 dif- ferent Hillsborough County high schools and 15 different institutions of higher learning. Hillsborough County partners yearly with the Community Action Board to offer scholarships to eligible students who wish to continue their education. Among students recognized were: Chaelle Garcon, Yves Luma, Kemari Hayes, Tatianna Rivers and Brooklyn Delgado. (Pho- tograph by BRUNSON)
