MR. GERALD LEE (JABOO) GAY
A Celebration of Life for Mr. Gerald Lee (Jaboo) Gay, who passed away on January 9, 2018, will be held Saturday, January 27, 2018 at 2 p. m., at Greater New Salem Primitive Baptist Church, 1605 N. Nebraska Ave., Tampa, Florida 33602, with Elder Dr. Benjamin Curry Pastor, officiat- ing, Rev. Tony Tate, eulogist. In- terment will follow at Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.
Gerald was born in Tampa, FL to Melissa Holmes and Johnny Gay on December 28, 1983 and was known to many as “Jaboo.” He was educated in the Public Schools of Hillsborough County. Gerald worked construction alongside his manager, Frank Jackson.
Gerald leaves to cherish memories of him: his mother, Melissa Holmes; father, Johnny Gay; stepfather, Ricky Johnson (Marquita); 6 children, Queshon- dra, Katania, Gerald, Jr., Zyana, Jorden and Malik; 2 sisters, Rick- ette and Dayshia; brothers, Tony, Lil Rick, Terry, Teedawee, Mon- trail and Maine B; 3 loving aunts, Deadre, Tronda and MaryJane; 2 uncles, Roosevelt and Theodore; a host of cousins, Nikki, CeCe, Toya and family, Butch, Sharda, Mike, Joleisa, Niko and family, Calvin, Terrance, Val, Taquisha and family, Roshonda, Cody, Ter- rance, Tyrell, Ladeidra and fam- ily; and a host of sorrowing friends.
Public visitation will be held on Friday, January 26, 2018 from 5–8 p. m. at Integrity Funeral Services, 3822 E. 7th Avenue, Tampa.
All are asked to assemble at the church on Saturday at 1:45 p.

MR. SAM E. SAMUELS
Homegoing Services for Mr. Sam Samuels, who passed away January 18, 2018, will be held Saturday, January 27, 2018at11a.m.atSt.John Cathedral, 3401 Bishop Eddie Newkirk Way, Tampa, FL 33605. Senior Pastor Dwight A. Newkirk, officiating. Interment will be private.
Sam Samuels was born to the late Cream Ester (Stewart) Samuels Shaw and Sam Alton Samuels on May 31, 1946. After the death of his father, he was raised by his stepfather, Walter A. Shaw as a resident of Craw- ford, MS by way of Chicago, IL. He attended Hyde Park High School in Chicago, IL. Sam then moved to Tampa, FL which be- came his permanent home. He was known as a gentle giant, who stayed to himself, a clean dresser with a mind of wisdom.
At age 18, Sam started work- ing in the jewelry industry as a diamond setter. Sam was the first African American jeweler in the Tampa Bay area which led him to open his own busi- ness “S & J Jewelers,” located inside Mr. Man at University Mall for over 15 years. He was also a mentor, a father figure and a counselor to young peo- ple who needed guidance along the way. He was a firm believer in God and his priority was his family.
He was preceded in death by: former spouses, 1st, Joyce Ann (Oda) Samuels and 2nd, Carolyn Marie (Quaites) Samuels; his parents, Cream Ester and Sam Samuels; stepfa- ther, Walter Shaw; nephew, Byran Bradley; and (grand- son) Jerielle Samuels.
He leaves to cherish memo- ries: children, Sam, Michelle, Charlotte (Phil), Camille, Angel (Mike), Jermaine, Joshua (Eliz- abeth), Samantha (Kimberly), and Liberty (Ferman); siblings, Bertha (William), Annie (Em- manuel) and Walter, Jr. (Patrice); 20 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation for Mr. Sam E. Samuels will be held this Friday evening from 5-8 p. m. The fam- ily will receive friends from 7-8 p. m.
The processional will as- semble at the church at 10:45 a. m. Saturday.

MR. GERONIMO ‘PICHI’ ROLDAN
A Celebration of Life for Mr. Geronimo Roldan, who passed away January 21, 2018, will be held Saturday, January 27, 2018 at 10 a. m. at Harmon Funeral Home, 5002 N. 40th St., Tampa, FL 33610. Interment will be private.
Mr. Roldan was born Sep- tember 6, 1962, in Brooklyn, NY to Geronimo Roldan, Sr. and Ramona Ruiz. He was edu- cated in the public schools of Kings County. In his early years, he met Marizol Pena, mother of his only son, Dexter Geronimo Roldan and Wanda Delatorre, mother of his only daughter, Francis Delatorre Roldan. “Pichi” was born Catholic.
He leaves to cherish his memories: devoted parents, Ramona “Mami” Burgos and Jose M. Burgos; sisters, Mari- beth, Lisette and Marizol Bur- gos; his “favorite” TiTi, Marihu Rodriguez; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, sons-in-law, brothers-in-law, and friends.

MOTHER ANNIE MAE PARKER
A Celebration of Life for Mother Annie Mae Parker who passed away on January 17, 2018, will be held Saturday, Jan- uary 27, 2018, at 11 a. m. at Rev- elation Community Missionary Baptist Church, 7225 E. Chelsea Street, Tampa Florida, with Rev. Dr. G. B. Robinson, Pastor, offi- ciating. Interment will follow at Rest Haven Memorial Park.
Annie Mae was born in En- terprise, Alabama to the late Casey McCoy and Effie Mae Williams on November 29, 1946. After moving to Tampa, she at- tended Middleton High School, graduating in the class of 1965. She later in life met and married the late Marvin Parker, Sr., and to that union, 3 children were born. Annie Mae served faith- fully in the church as her Pas- tor’s Secretary for many years. On Wednesday, January 17, 2018, her soul took flight to eter- nal rest.
Annie Mae was preceded in death by: her parents, Casey McCoy and Effie Mae Sims; her husband, Marvin Parker, Sr.; grandson, Coryell Parker; and daughter, Cyntrina Patrick Scott.
She leaves to cherish and honor her memories: her chil- dren, Deborah Parker Pitt (Roo- sevelt), Marvin Parker, Jr., Deacon Anthony Parker (Cucinda), Jackie Wilson (Dea- con Albert), Lashon Richards (Charles), all of Tampa, FL, Yolonda Hart (Solomon) of Tal- lahassee, FL, and Willie Sher- man (Sherica) of Thomasville, GA; 15 grandchildren, Kajuanna, Anthony Jr., Andre, Alexandria, Alexis, Willie, Marshanna, Steve, Jr., Sable, Constance, Solomon, Jr., Mercedes, Arielle and Jerrelle and Chase; 12 great grandchildren; grandmother, Callie Sims of Greenwood FL; 3 aunts, Pearl Moultrie and Bar- bara Sims, both of Greenwood, FL, Gwendolyn Ward (James) of Panama City, FL; 6 uncles, Emanuel Sims (Donna) of Clear- water, FL., Robert Sims (Mary), Wesley Sims (Rosalind), Charles Sims (Joyce), James Sims and Roy Chester Sims, all of Green- wood, FL; a special and devoted cousin, Freddy Williams of En- terprise, AL; 1 brother-in-law, Deacon Columbus Parker (Cora); 1 sister-in-law, Beatrice Vann; longtime devoted family friend, Mr. Earl Grace and fam- ily and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins and many sorrow- ing family and friends.

MRS. JANICE E. PERSON
Mrs. Janice E. Person of Tampa passed away Tuesday, January 16, 2018. Funeral Serv- ices will be conducted Satur- day, January 27 at 11 a. m. at Northside M. B. Church, 5706 N. 40th St., Reverend Ricardo Robinson, Pastor, with Apostle Al Gallon, New Testament Church, Thonotosassa, FL, offi- ciating. Interment will follow in Orange Hill Cemetery.
Janice was a native of Tampa and was educated in the Public Schools of Hillsborough County. She furthered her edu- cation at Erwin Technical Col- lege, where she received her certification in Medical Billing and Coding.
Janice was a dedicated member of Hope of Shiloh Community Church and an honorary member of New Tes- tament Church. She was also a member of The Gospel Mira- clettes Singers and Anointed and Ordained Ministries. Jan- ice enjoyed singing in the choir, worshiping on the praise team and serving on the hospitality committee at Hope of Shiloh Community Church. She was well known for her special love for others, Janice also loved spending time with her family and traveling.
She was preceded in death by: her parents, Waymon Jor- dan and Ada Bell Reddick Lit- tle; sister, Jacqueline Jordan; and grandparents, John and Sarah Little.
Janice leaves to cherish her memories: a loving and de- voted husband, Sidney; five children, Lashawn Jordan, Timothy Jordan, Tawanda Streater, Emily Person (CJ) and Cindy Person; grandchildren, Idalett, Larry, Roneisha, Sh- erneka, Tatiana, TJ, Demetrius, La’Nya, Janicia, Joliyah, Jarvis, Ma’caria, Savanna, and Javari; four great-grandchildren; sis- ters, Sheryl Jordan-Clark and Debra Williams (Eric); brother, John Henry Reddick (Bar- bara); aunts, J. Ruth Brooks of Quitman, GA and Verlion Jor- dan of Tampa, FL; two sisters- in-law, Susie Pugh (Samuel) and Tiny Person; godsisters, Aquan, Shelly, Cookie, Sonya and Crystal; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
