A new job offer landed the Pattersons in the up and coming city of Tampa, Florida.
They wanted a loving Chris- tian home so David and Emma Jean Patterson joined New Salem M. B. Church in Hyde Park. Soon after, the family ex- panded to eight children, six daughters and two sons. Emma Jean wanted to instill the Lord Jesus Christ into her children at a young age. For many years, Emma Jean Patterson was a faithful servant, singing in the choir, teaching home Bible study with the family that soon started to include a lot of the neighbor- hood children as well. The Pat- tersons later moved their membership to New Hope M. B. Church. Over the years Emma Jean’s health gradually started to decline. The Lord later called her home on January 18, 2018.

ARCHELLE BROWN 4/22/1984 - 01/25/2014
I thought of you with love today but, that’s noth- ing new. I thought of you yesterday and days before, too.
I think of you in silence. I often speak your name. All I have is memories and pictures in frames.
Your memory is my keepsake with which I will never part. God has you in his keeping, I have you in my heart.
