  Two Charged In Beating Death Of St. Petersburg Man
Man Wanted For Shooting Two People Sitting In Car
Autistic Teenager Drowns In Pond

The Clearwater Police De- partment has arrested two men in connection with the beating death of another man. Both are facing first-de- gree murder charges.
Savonne Morrison, 18, of Pasco County has been charged in the homicide of Jeffrey Chapman on Oct. 21st on Clearwater Beach. With the assistance of the Pasco County Sheriff’s Office, he was booked into the Pasco County Jail last Tuesday. He will be moved to the Pinellas County Jail.

that city on the same night. The suspects used the same weapon - a tire iron - to attack that man and sev-

The New Port Richey Po- lice Department is currently searching for a man who re- portedly shot two people. He is considered to be armed and dangerous.
Last Friday, shortly after 2 p. m., a disturbance took place involving several individuals in the area of River Road and Veterans Dr. Several of those involved were sitting in a white Kia.
New Port Richey Police re- sponded and were told that one of the individuals was standing outside the vehicle. The subject standing outside the vehicle removed a 45-caliber handgun and began shooting at occupants in the vehicle.
Two occupants were shot by the suspect, who are cur- rently being treated for their injuries. The suspect fled the scene on foot northbound on River Road.
Police have identified the suspect as 19-year-old Em- manuel Neville Lewis, Jr. Lewis is described as a Black man, about 5’11” with a medium build. Lewis was last seen wearing a blue hoodie dark colored shorts and dark colored slides.
He has standing dreads (Wicks) with red tips. This in- cident appears to be domestic in nature and was not random.
Man Arrested For Trying To Kill
Despite life-saving ef- forts, medical personnel were not able to save a 17- year-old. The teenager was autistic and had been re- ported missing to the Hills- borough County Sheriff’s Office.
According to a spokesper- son, on Friday, just after 8 p. m., deputies were called to the area of Sheldon and Me- morial for reports of a miss- ing autistic 17-year-old.
However, before deputies arrived to the scene the par- ents located the teenager in a nearby pond.
First responders arrived at the scene, and adminis- tered life-saving measures. The teenager was then trans- ported to a local hospital and pronounced deceased.
“Our thoughts are with the family at this heartbreak- ing time,” the spokesperson said.

Man Charged With Pouring
A 22-year-old man has been arrested and charged with attempted murder. The elderly victim is in critical condition,
According to the Hillsbor- ough County Sheriff’s Office, Logan Hall broke into the man’s home and attacked him. The suspect fled the scene after stealing two firearms from the home.
Police said that on No- vember 1, 2022, just after 5:30 p.m., deputies with the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office responded to a home in the 4000 block of Copper Canyon Blvd., in Valrico, after receiving a call from a woman advising that her husband had been attacked. Upon ar- rival, deputies found the vic- tim lying in the bedroom with severe upper-body trauma.
The woman told detec- tives that her husband had been home alone for several hours, and during that time, she had not been able to reach him.
Detectives learned that at some point during the day, an unknown person unlaw- fully entered the victim’s home and a struggle ensued between the man and suspect. Before fleeing the home, the suspect struck the victim with one of two stolen firearms.

Through investigative
means, detectives identified the suspect, Logan Hall, who lives near the victim. Hall confessed to the crimes and was subsequently arrested.
The stolen firearm used to attack the victim was located in the suspect’s vehicle.

said, “This suspect had every intention of leaving the victim for dead after senselessly and viciously attacking an inno- cent man.
“Detectives swiftly worked to identify the suspect, who showed no remorse for his ac- tions. Our prayers are with the victim’s family as he fights for his life.”
Hall is facing charges of attempted first-degree murder, armed burglary of an occupied dwelling with a firearm, and two counts of grand theft of a firearm.
A 36-year-old man has been arrested and charged with attacking a teenager. Po- lice said the two were known to each other.
According to the St. Pe- tersburg Police Department, last Thursday, Bronden Riley was arrested and charged with child abuse after he allegedly attacked a teenager during an argument.
The incident took place on Oct. 3, 2022. Police said the 14-year-old boy got into an argument in a vehicle after the teenager refused to give Riley his phone password.
Riley is alleged to have gotten out of the vehicle, and walked to the rear passenger side door where the 14-year- old was sitting. The boy told police that Riley hit him on the side of the face several times and made him get out of the car.

The two then got into a physical fight and Riley al- legedly proceeded to have knocked him to the ground and began kicking him.
The teenager said Riley held him down and poured Gain laundry detergent into his mouth.
