4 Congressional Democrats Will Boycott Trump’s State Of The Union Speech
British PM Says She Has NO Say If Pres. Trump Is Or Is Not Invited To Royal Wedding
British Prime Minister Theresa May said she was “not responsible” for inviting Donald Trump to the royal wedding of Prince Harry and American actress Meghan Markle when asked whether the U. S. president should at- tend.
“I’m not responsible for invi- tations to the royal wedding,” May told lawmakers in the British parliament on Wednes- day, adding that an invitation for Trump to come to the U.K. on a state visit had been ex- tended.
The British Prime Minister, Theresa May is making it known she has no control over who gets invited to the royal wedding.
“We have a special and en- during relationship with the United States,” the prime min-
ister also said.
May’s statements come
after Trump announced in a tweet last week that he would cancel a planned state visittotheU.K.toopenanew American embassy, as he con- sidered it a “bad deal” made under former U. S. President Barack Obama’s leadership.
However, as usual, the president made a fake news statement, because the deal to establish a new embassy in London had been inked under Obama’s predecessor, George W. Bush.
Liar, Liar Pants On Fire: Southern Republicans Lie About ‘Sh*!hole’ Comment
There is no honor among anti-immigrant advocates and liars. After dutifully lying on behalf of the president regard- ing his abhorrent language (“sh*!hole countries”), Sens. Tom Cotton (R-Ark.) and David Perdue (R-Ga.) were outed by the White House. The Post reports:
Three White House officials said Perdue and Cotton told the White House that they heard “sh*!house” rather than “sh*!hole,” allowing them to deny the president’s comments

on television over the weekend. The two men initially said pub- licly that they could not recall
what the president said.
Not only did these two re- peatedly lie, but Cotton also impugned the integrity of Sen. Richard J. Durbin (D-Ill.), who told the truth. Asked whether the accusation that Trump spoke the offending words or the sentiment was phony, Cotton lied, “Yes.” He went on to say, “Senator Durbin has misrepresented what happened in White House meetings before, and he was corrected by Obama ad-
ministration officials by it.”
Reps. John Lewis, Maxine Waters, Frederica Wilson and Pramila Jayapal, so far, say they will boycott speech.
Four congressional Democ- rats are boycotting Presi- dent Donald Trump’s first State of the Union address scheduled for Jan. 30 after the president reportedly said African nations were "s---hole countries" in a closed-door meeting at the White House last week.
Rep. John Lewis, D-Ga., Rep. Maxine Waters, D- Calif., Rep. Frederica Wil- son, D-Fla., and Rep. Pramila Jayapal, D-Wash., said they will not attend the president’s address after
Trump made the derogatory comment during a bipartisan meeting with lawmakers on immigration.
Lewis, the longtime Geor- gia congressman and civil rights icon who marched with Martin Luther King Jr., said on
"This Week" Sunday, "In good conscience, I can not and will not sit there and lis- ten at him as he gives the State of the Union address."
Lewis further criticized the president, calling him "a racist."
Lifetime Movie Set About Prince Harry And Meghan Markle
There is another British royal wedding coming and another Lifetime TV movie on the way about the ro- mance that led to it.
The cable network is prep- ping Harry & Meghan: The Royal Love Story, a film that chronicles the relationship between Prince Harry and American actress Meghan Markle, who announced their engagement in Novem- ber.
The royal wedding is set for May between Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
The film will examine the history of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle from the moment they met after being set up by friends, through their initial courtship when they were able to keep their romance under wraps, and ultimately the intense global media attention surrounding their relationship and Meghan’s life as a divorced American actress.
Former White House Strategist Refused To Answer Questions From Intel Panel
Former White House chief strategist Stephen Bannon on Tuesday rocketed to the center of the public contro- versy surrounding the Trump campaign and Russia.
The onetime Breitbart mogul and frenemy of the president now faces multiple subpoenas — from Capitol Hill and special counsel Robert Mueller — stemming from investigations of Russia’s interference in the U.S. presidential election.
The House Intelligence Com- mittee issued a pair of subpoe- nas, for both documents and testimony, when Bannon, the

president’s former chief- strategist-turned-arch-fren- emy, was refusing to answer questions posed by them re- garding the Trump campaign’s
ties to Russia, claiming a bizarre form of executive priv- ilege.
At his subsequent hearing, Texas Congressman Mike Conaway told Politico, “We’re going to get answers from Mr. Bannon.”
Bannon indicated to law- makers that he would answer questions about the Trump campaign, but not about his work on the transition team or in the White House.
That stance infuriated law- makers. Sources described the meeting as a “total free-for-all” and “brutal.”
