Errol Spence Wears Dallas Cowboys Gear For Fight In Frisco
ERROL SPENCE, JR. Errol Spence, Jr. was
dressed appropriately for his fight at The Star in Frisco, Texas on Saturday night.
Spence was fighting at the site of the Dallas Cowboys’ practice facility, so he entered the ring wearing a Cowboys hat and the star on the arms of his robe.
Spence’s walk to the ring lasted about as long as his fight. He stopped Carlos Ocampo in the first round to improve to 24-0.
Cowboys owner Jerry Jones joined Spence in the ring for his postfight interview. Spence enjoyed his experience to the point where he said he’d like to fight at the venue every year moving forward.

With Conduct In Camp
‘Still Under Review’
Odell Beckham, Jr. is reportedly giving the New York Giants every reason he can to invest in him long-term.
Beckham has been im- pressing the team’s coaching staff with his conduct during the offseason.
Beckham has texted reg- ularly with new head coach Pat Shurmur and has been a steady hand with the team’s new talent.
“Odell’s been awesome,” one Giants coach said regard- ing his work with the team’s incoming players.
This should all reflect very well on Beckham in contract
The NFL’s investigation into the allegations of Bucca- neers’ quarterback Jameis Winston groping a female Uber driver is still pending ac- cording to the St. Pete Times.
This is problematic be- cause under the league’s broad ‘personal conduct pol- icy’ it leaves Winston in limbo.
This is the 8th month of the probe that Winston al- legedly groped a female Uber driver in Arizona in March 2016.
According to NFL spokesman Brian Mc- Carthy, “This remains under review.”
Training camp starts in 6 weeks.
Winston has denied any wrongdoing. The driver, claimed that on March 13, 2016, in Scottsdale, Ariz., Winston "reached over and he just grabbed my crotch." She said he kept his hand there for three to five seconds and removed it only after she said, "What's up with that?” She also said that Winston was the only person in the car.
However, Philadelphia Eagles cornerback Ronald Darby, Winston's team- mate at Florida State, has said
Buc QB Jameis Winston.
he was with Winston in the car that night and nothing happened.
Darby stated, "I felt the need to come forward and clarify some inaccurate ac- counts of the evening of March 13, 2016, when myself, a friend and Jameis Win- ston took an Uber ride in Ari- zona. There were three of us in the car, not just one as has been reported. Myself and Jameis were in the backseat. I am confident that nothing inappropriate in nature hap- pened in the car that evening and Jameis did not have any physical contact with the Uber driver. The accusations are just not true."
If the NFL doles out pun- ishment, as some believe they will, Winston will probably face game suspension.

negotiations. Though the two sides aren’t close right now, Beckham is more or less tak- ing away as many reasons as possible for the Giants to avoid committing to him long- term.
Son Of Ex-Cowboys
There are plenty of run- ning backs in NFL history who are more accomplished than LeGarrette Blount, but few are more bejeweled.
Blount has been a part of three Super Bowl-winning teams during his career.
He was on the 2014 and 2016 New England Patriots, and he also was a part of the 2017 Philadelphia Eagles.
That means he now has three Super Bowl rings, which he shared in a photo on Twit- ter Monday.
Blount previously said that he would wear the Eagles

a double murder in Texas.

According to the report, po- lice believe the two victims were attempting to sell mari- juana to Williams and Shan- non, who apparently pulled a gun and demanded the drugs.
Shots were fired and the two sellers ended up dead.
The bond for each man is $1 million. They would be facing the death penalty if convicted.
Cassius Williams played college football at Central State University. His father played 11 seasons in the NFL and was a four-time Pro Bowler.

Dennis Green Into Ring of Honor
The late Dennis Green will be inducted into the Vikings' Ring of Honor at halftime of Minnesota's game against the Bills on Sept. 23 at U.S. Bank Stadium.
Green coached the Vikings from 1992 through 2001. He coached 171 games in 10 seasons with a 101-70 record, including playoffs, and finished with the second- most victories in franchise history behind Bud Grant (178).
Green, who died in July 2016, led Minnesota to four NFC Central Division titles and two appearances in the NFC Championship Game. His 1998 team featured one of the best offenses in league history; that group scored 556 points for an average of 34.8 per game, an NFL record that has since been broken.
Green was named NFL
