I think it's safe to say that Eddie James Tignor is probably not having one
of his better years right now. Two months ago, he was ac- cused of throwing boiling hot cooking oil on a man while working at a Wing Stop restaurant. Now he's in the news again for severely abus- ing a 4-month-old child on several different occasions, the last one requiring the in- fant to be hospitalized.
As a result of each of these cases, that displayed Tignor's propensity for ex- treme violence, I believe it's also not a stretch to assume that things are going to get even worse for the 31-year- old basket case. Whatever light that a jailhouse minister is telling him exists at the end of the dark tunnel he's currently navigating, more than likely, emanates from the ceiling of a protective custody cell on a prison yard somewhere.
And, of course, that spells bad news for Tignor. This is mainly due to the fact that hurting a child, in any shape, form or fashion is, by far, the absolute worst thing to be known for on a state prison
National
compound.
He would have been ok if
he were just known as the "hot grease throwing dude." But, being the "hot grease throwing dude who also likes to beat up on babies?" It will be surprising if he makes it out of Orient Road (Central Booking) with all of his teeth intact.
As pathetic as Tignor ap- pears, though, it's still hard for me to dismiss the fact that someone else should also hold some level of ac- countability when it comes to placing such an innocent life in harm's way. And, as sad as it is to say, that person would be the baby's very own mother.
I don't know what kind of relationship this woman had with Tignor. But, after the Wing Stop fiasco, you would think that she would have ex- ercised a little more caution before leaving her newborn in his care.
I mean this is a man who's clearly shown mental insta- bility. Knowing the kind of over-the-top behavior he's capable of, how could a par- ent, with any sense at all, feel comfortable with him as a
baby sitter?
To be honest, it's hard for
me to figure out why these types of incidents keep hap- pening? By now it should have dawned on some of these young mothers that, just because they feel com- fortable opening their legs to a guy, it doesn't necessarily mean he's responsible enough to look after their children.
Technically, that should be the case. But, unfortu- nately, it's often not.
Thankfully, this time around, the child was able to survive his injuries in spite of his mother's poor judgment. It's just too bad every baby isn't as lucky.
As for Tignor, I imagine it won't be long before Karma comes calling in the form of a brutal meet and greet inside one of Florida's notorious penal institutions.
Now that everyone knows exactly what he looks like it will be interesting to see how he responds to all of the men who'll certainly be willing to take the same fade from him that he so easily gave to an infant.
I am sure the end result won't be pretty. But it will, most definitely, be well de- served.

Nations Who Live On Glass Borders Should Never Throw Stones
What if you lived in a nation whose her- itage included the history of natives, slaves, immigrants and migrants?
A nation, whose main language was, in fact the languages of many nations, and whose countless cultures crossed culture lines?
A nation geographically mired with potential super volcanoes, monster cyclones, tornadoes, and hurricanes that destroy property and peo- ple with the wickedest of ease . . .
And, what if you were a citizen of a society that saw no dishonor in its officials tearing ba- bies from their screaming mothers.
Or sat back and watched as entire groups of peo- ple were placed int0 internment camps.
Or witnessed day-in and day-out racist be- havior from the big house to the jailhouse?
Do you think you would be or better yet, should be so quick to close your borders and look down your nose at the rest of the world?
What if your neighbors – namely Canada, Mexico and Japan – grew tired of your nation’s foolishness, and did the same to you. Especially since your nation has a record of more crime and illegal drug consumption than any on earth?
What if your nation had a massive catastro- phe? Who would take us in?
Therefore, when our politicians go back to Capitol Hill, high-and-dry, whisper this re- minder in their ears: “Folks who live on glass borders should never throw stones!”
Police Arrest Suspect in XXXTentacion Murder
Police with the Broward County Sheriff’s Office have ar- rested a 22-year-old man in con- nection with the murder of a popular rapper, XXXTenta- cion. Dedrick D. Williams was charged with murder Wednesday night.
The controversial 20-year-old rapper was shot and killed ear- lier this week.
The Broward County Sheriff’s Office confirmed Williams was booked on several charges, in- cluding first-degree murder, a probation violation, and driving without a valid license.

The Broward County Sher- iff's Office said the incident might have started as an at- tempted robbery.
The rapper was transported to a nearby hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
XXXTentacion's songs cracked the Top 40 three differ- ent times in 2018 in less than six months. But even before he be- came a reliable hit maker, he was dogged by troubling charges for violent offenses, including

armed robbery and beating an ex-girlfriend.
In December, he was charged with 15 felony counts in connec- tion to a 2016 domestic abuse case. He was on house arrest until March; a date for his trial had not yet been set when he was shot.
As news of the rapper's shooting spread, stars mourned his loss on Twitter. Kanye West, Diplo, J. Cole and Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker were among those who paid tribute to XXXTentacion on social media.
According to Williams was taken into cus- tody on Wednesday shortly be- fore 7 p.m. in Pompano Beach. He’s currently being held with- out bond in the Broward County jail.
XXXTentacion was shot Monday after leaving a motor sports store in Deerfield Beach. Video footage of the rapper lying motionless in his car quickly sur- faced on the Internet. The police received a dispatch call suggest- ing that there were two suspects who sped away from the scene of
