 Family Needs Help To Bury Infant
  The family of a 7-week-old infant who died recently needs help from the community. The infant died on November 11th.
Little Armani Green was born on September 20th to Ms. Lartramida Barr and Ar- travious Green. She was the first child for both parents.
Her maternal grand- mother, Mrs. Arnida Sim- mons-Harden, said her parents found her deceased last Saturday. “They are devas- tated, and they didn’t have any insurance on her. My daughter is taking this so hard.”

said her daughter had just re- turned to work after taking a maternity leave.
The death investigation is being conducted by the Hills- borough County Sheriff’s Of- fice. The cause of death is pending a ruling from the Hillsborough County Medical Examiner’s Office.

    Young Lady Vies For 2017 ‘Miss Teen’ Pageant Title

Young ladies throughout the Tampa Bay Area are preparing to compete in the “2017 Miss Teen Pag- eant.” The winner will be cho- sen on Sunday, December 3rd.
The pageant judges will se- lect young ladies in four age groups. Those chosen will con- tinue at the next level to at the National Pageant in Orlando.
Ms. Ashanti Leslie is among the young ladies vying for the title in the teenage cat- egory. The young ladies will compete for a share of thou- sands of prizes and specialty gifts.
Ashanti and the other contestants will be judged in various modeling routines for both casual and formal wear. However, she will have an op- portunity to display her own unique personality when she is interviewed with a panel of judges.
If she is successful, Ashanti will win the “Miss Teen” title locally. She will then move on to the National Pageant in Orlando to repre- sent her community. Once again, she will compete among

Mr. and Mrs. Paul (Eu- netta) Leslie. She is a gradu- ating senior at Howard W. Blake High School and plans to become a member of the Na- tional Guard, and later pursue a career as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner.
The 17-year-old Tampa na- tive enjoys acting, dancing, and singing.
