Angela Robinson is doing a great job on The Haves And The Have Nots. How do we know? Because fans of the show have a hard time disas- sociating her from her charac- ter on the show, the villainess Veronica Harrington.
“They yell at me. They tell me what an awful mother I am and that I don’t know I have a good man. Robinson, a Jack- sonville, Florida native who went to FAMU and is well known in theater circles says she doesn’t mind her intense fans, although sometimes her [real-life] husband does.

Essence Fest Fans Upset After Missy Elliott Cut Short
No Charges Filed Against Diddy In UCLA Confrontation
A few fans left EssenceFest a bit perturbed, after an inci- dent involving Missy Elliott. According to reports, the 44- year-old artist took to the Super Dome stage last night (July 4th), putting on an ex- plosive set.
And while fans seemed to be enjoying all things Missy, in the middle of her set, Essence pulled the plug liter- ally while she was on stage. A source tells us that her mics were cut, right in the middle of her trying to bring on singer Monica. In fact, the stage went completely black and ads began to run, right after Missy brought out Jazmine Sullivan. A source notes,

The Los Angeles County dis- trict attorney’s office declined Thursday to file felony charges against Sean “Diddy” Combs for a confrontation last month at the University of California, Los Angeles, where his son plays football.
District attorney spokesman Ricardo Santiago said the office decided instead to turn the case over to the Los Ange- les city attorney’s office, which could file lesser misdemeanor charges.
No charges have been brought against the 45-year- old hip-hop mogul for the con- frontation June 20 at UCLA’s athletic facilities in which po- lice said he wielded a piece of weight-room equipment called a kettlebell.
