V. P. Pence’s Melodramatic Walkout Of NFL Game Costs Taxpayers $242,500+
Trump Challenges Sec. Of State Tillerson To IQ Test
Following Mike Pence’s Sunday NFL protest — which saw him dramatically walk out of a Colts-49ers game over players taking a knee — many questioned details surround- ing the timing, the chosen op- ponent, and the wording of accompanying statements and tweets (with President Trump admitting that this visit was in the works for some time).
However, no one dis- puted that this was one ex- pensive protest footed by taxpayers, according to Up- roxx.
The publicly available de- tails placed the bill at around $242,500, mainly based upon expenses associated with fly- ing in Air Force 2 and Secret Service protection.
As a result, watchdog group Citizens for Ethics (CREW) has filed a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) re-

quest for any and all records relating to security, flight costs, and other hidden odds and ends.
The group also points to- ward how Pence’s “political stunt” was not only encour- aged and praised by the pres- ident, but actually undertaken because Trump “asked” him
to do it.
Of course, Pence’s trip
arrived after weeks of criti- cism by the president and the administration, which inter- preted knee-taking by Colin Kaepernick (and so many other players, who remain supported by coaches) as dis- respectful and unpatriotic.
President Trump pro- posed an “IQ tests” faceoff with Secretary of State Rex Tillerson after the nation's top diplomat reportedly called the president a “moron” and disparaged his grasp of foreign policy, ac- cording to the Washington Post.
In an interview with Forbes magazine published Tuesday, Trump fired a shot at Tillerson over the “moron” revelation.
“I think it's fake news,” Trump said, “but if he did
that, I guess we'll have to compare IQ tests. And I can tell you who is going to win.”
Trump met for lunch Tuesday with Tillerson and Defense Secretary Jim Mat- tis in the president's private dining room at the White House. Shortly before the lunch, a reporter asked Trump whether he had un- dercut Tillerson with his comments to Forbes.
“No, I didn't undercut anybody. I don't believe in undercutting people,” Trump said.
Eminem Destroys Trump In Freestyle Cypher During BET Hip Hop Awards
Trump Threatens Licenses Of NBC And Other News Outlets For ‘Fake News’
In what is being called one of the fiercest and the most arsenal-filled attack against Donald Trump in hip-hop, Eminem called the President everything from "Donald the b----" to a "racist grandpa" in an explosive 4.5- minute freestyle rap during the BET Hip Hop Awards .
When he spluttered out his first punchline–“That’s an awfully hot coffee pot Should I drop it on Donald Trump?/Prob’ly not/But that’s all I got ’til I come up with a solid plot”–it was easy
Eminem recorded his Cy- pher round in Detroit and was aired during the BET Hip Hop Awards.
for any BET Hip-Hop Awards viewer to predict the topical direction in which Eminem’s freestyle might be headed.
The Detroit rapper chal- lenged his fans to "decide who you like more" -- Em- inem or Trump during the airing of the show Tuesday night.
But the rappers’s prere- corded cypher was a more de- tailed attack against Donald Trump than anyone could have expected.
The five-minute clip was filmed in Detroit.
President Trump
openly threatened Wednes- day to go after the licenses of "NBC and the Networks," as he ratcheted up his com- plaints about "Fake News."
“With all of the Fake News coming out of NBC and the Networks, at what point is it appropriate to challenge their License? Bad for coun- try!” Trump tweeted.
This was after he chal- lenged the accuracy of an NBC News report that said he sought a “nearly tenfold in- crease” in the nuclear arsenal during a summer meeting.
“Fake @NBCNews made up a story that I wanted a ‘tenfold’ increase in our U.S. nuclear arsenal. Pure fiction, made up to demean. NBC=CNN!” Trump tweeted Wednesday.
Gun Control Needed:
Vegas Shooter Shot Hotel Security Guard Before Rampage
Police have dramatically changed their account of how the Las Vegas massacre began on Oct. 1, revealing Monday that the gunman shot an un- armed hotel security guard six minutes before opening fire on a country music concert — raising new questions about why police weren’t able to pin- point the gunman’s location sooner.
Officials had previously said that gunman Stephen Paddock, 64, of Mesquite, Nev., shot Mandalay Bay secu- rity guard Jesus Campos after Paddock had unleashed his deadly volley at the Route 91 Harvest Festival, an assault that began at 10:05 p.m. and left 58 people dead, with hun- dreds more injured.
Stephen Paddock shot Mandalay Bay Hotel security guard, Jesus Campos 6 min- utes before firing on concert- goers.
They had credited Cam- pos, who was shot in the leg, with stopping the 10-minute assault on the concert crowd by turning the gunman’s atten- tion to the hotel hallway, where Campos was checking an alert for an open door in an- other guest’s room.
But Clark County Sheriff Joe Lombardo said Monday that Paddock shot Campos before his mass shooting — at 9:59 p.m. — and they now did- n’t know why Paddock stopped his attack on the crowd.
Paddock, who had placed security cameras outside his room, shot Campos through the door of his suite, which was outfitted with a camera to sur- vey the hallway, as was a room service cart parked outside. Police said Paddock fired 200 rounds into the hallway.
Investigators previously said that the security guard was shot after Paddock had already spent 10 minutes firing into the crowd of concertgoers gathered below the hotel.
