West Tampa Resident Receives New Roof
Reynaldo McQuay, Councilman Frank Reddick, Mrs. Huellyn Mc- Quay, Jose Garcia and Maurice Dubose outside Mrs. McQuay’s home.
Tampa City Councilman, Chairman Frank Reddick, Jose Garcia with Rebuilding Together Tampa Bay and the City of Tampa Housing and Community Development office worked together to provide Mrs. Huellyn McQuay with a much needed roof for her home.
Mrs. McQuay’s home had been severely affected by sum- mer rains throughout the years. She shared her roofing concerns with Councilman Reddick’s office, which worked with the City’s Housing and Community Development office and Re- building Together Tampa Bay to evaluate and rectify Mrs. Mc- Quay’s longstanding roofing issues.
Mrs. McQuay was in tears when she realized that the work was actually starting early Tuesday morning before the New Year. “I’m grateful for the opportunity to partner with the City and Rebuilding Together Tampa Bay to assist my constituent in West Tampa,” said Reddick.
