MRS. ADA FIELDS-GUY
Mrs. Ada Fields-Guy, of Brandon, FL passed away, Thursday, April 14, 2022. Fu- neral services will be conducted Friday, April 22, 2022, 8:30 a.m. at Ray Williams Funeral Home with Pastor Jeffrey Sin- gletary, officiating. Interment will follow in Florida National Cemetery.
Ada was a native of Tampa, FL, and a resident of Tampa for 68 years. She attended St. Leo College at MacDill Air Force Base. She was a retired Ser- geant (Sgt) at Hillsborough County Sheriff Office.
Ada was preceded in death by: her beloved and devoted husband, Robert Guy; mother, Aline McGowin; father, William Poe; 2 uncles, Ernest Leasure and Dale Leasure; 1 aunt, Rose Lee; first husband, Harold Fields; son, Kevin Guy; and grandson, D’Antay McRoy.
She leaves to cherish her memory: 4 daughters, Sonya Fields (Anthony), Latasha McRoy (Charlie), Phanarat Guy (Kevin), and Wasana Guy (Brian); 12 grandchildren, Bri- ana McRoy, Ke’yana McRoy, Phillip Campisi, Kerry Guy, Mario Davis, Ciara Guy, Tierra Alexander, Micah Alexander, D’Angelo Best, Diont’a James, Kelsi Guy, and Kendall Guy; 24 great grandchildren, and host of nieces and nephews.

MR. ODIS C. LASTER
Mr. Odis C. Laster passed away Monday, April 11th, 2022. Funeral services will be Satur- day, April 23rd, 2:00 p.m. at Ray Williams Funeral Home, 301 N. Howard Ave., Tampa, FL, with Pastor Isiah J. Williams, Sr., of- ficiating.
Mr. Laster was born in Ams- terdam, Georgia, on September 12, 1948, to Earnest and Rosa Mae Laster. He was raised in Tampa, Florida, and was the fifth oldest of eleven children. He was educated in the Hillsbor- ough County Public Schools sys- tem.
Upon graduating from Blake High School, he was drafted into the U. S. Army. He was a Veteran of the Vietnam War. He was em- ployed at Alsco Linen & Uniform Rental Services for 37 years. He began his employment at Alsco in 1981 and retired in 2018. Odis enjoyed spending time with his family and listening to country music.
He preceded in death by: his parents; three sisters, Catherine Laster, Rudine Sims, and Rosa Burrow; two brothers, Willie C. Laster, and Earnest Lee Laster; sister-in-law, Wanda Lemons; brothers-in-law, Fred Sims, Sr., and Elder George Jackson, Sr.; three nieces, Catherine Albury, Priscilla Sims, and Erica Laster; two nephews, Malcolm Laster, and Eugene Laster; one great nephew, Anthony Williams; one great, great niece, Corrina Al- bury; and one great, great nephew, Jalen Puryear.
He leaves to cherish his memory: three sisters, Earnes- tine White (Eugene), Lillian Jones (Rudy), and Linda Williams (Pastor Isiah Williams, Sr.); brothers, Curtis Lemons, Jr., and Jerry Laster (Renee) all of Tampa, brother-in-law, Dea- con Bobby Burrow of Tampa, FL; sister-in-law, Elizabeth Laster of Pittsburg, PA; two aunts, Ms. Nettie Mae Harris of Attapulgus, GA and Ms. Bernice Brown of Knightdale, NC, and a host of other relatives, nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, cousins, and close friends who loved and cared about him dearly.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, April 22, 2022, at Ray Williams Funeral Home, 301 N. Howard Avenue, Tampa, FL 33606. MASK RECOMMENDED.

MRS. VIERIE PRICE-YOUNG
Mrs. Vierie Price-Young of Tampa, FL passed away Wednes- day, April 13th, 2022. Funeral Services will be conducted Thursday, April 21st, 2022, 12:00 p.m. at Progress Village Seventh Day Adventist Church, 7909 Flower Ave., Tampa, FL. with Pastor Byron Wells., offici- ating.
Vierie was born on October 12, 1939, to Henry and Geneva Price, who preceded her in death. As a child, Vierie was raised in Fort Pierce, FL where she met and married the love of her life, Paul Young. They were together for 62 years and were blessed with five children. She and her husband moved to Tampa FL in search of a better life.
Vierie completed her educa- tion in Cosmetology and as a Li- censed Practical Nurse. She was best known as a homemaker to her family which she loved dearly.
She was introduced to the Advent message by the late F. S. Keitts and was baptized into the truth in 1968, by Pastor Sloan at Mt. Calvary SDA Church, where she found a church home. Vierie settled into God’s precious word and never looked back to enter the darkness of the world she had left behind. She enjoyed her walk with God. In His word she found a whole new way of life. By His power she was committed to serve Him all the days of the life He had planned for her. Fa- vorite scriptures Ps. 90:12, Ps. 39:4, Gal 5:22-23.
Vierie was preceded in death by: her parents; siblings, Charles Price, and Isadora Price-Rowe; and daughter Cynthia Dawn Young.
She is survived by: her hus- band, Paul W. Young; four chil- dren, Pylander Young (Erin), I. Vicky Harvey (Percy), Lorraine Young and Alexis Young; grand- children, Octavius Young, Calvin Young, Carlos Young, Jeremy Gordon, Reva Graham (Antwan), Samantha Edwards (Jermaine) and Jody Harvey; great grandchildren; siblings, Mary Flemming, John Price (Odessa), Texella Adams, Susan Washington (Bernard), Mary Lee Porter, Ceola (Candy) Strong Jordan, and Delores (Tiny) Strong Cook (William); along with a host of family and friends.

MOTHER MARY FRANCIS ROBINSON WATTS
Mother Mary Francis Robin- son Watts, of Tampa, FL, passed away, Friday, April 8, 2022. Fu- neral services will be conducted Saturday, April 23, 2022, 11:00 a.m. at Cathedral of Faith Church, Inc., 6304 N. 30th Street, Tampa, FL with Apostle James H. Howell, officiating. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Ceme- tery.
Mary was a native of Tren- ton, FL, and a resident of Tampa for 55 years. She attended school in Gilchrist County and was a member of Cathedral of Faith for 33 years. She retired from the University of South Florida.
Mary was preceded in death by: her father, Lee H. Smith; mother, Ethel Smith; 5 brothers and 5 sisters.
She leaves to cherish her memory: son, Edgar Robinson, Jr.; sister, Annie Pearl Smith; grandchildren, Felisha Robin- son-Ross (Russell), Edgar Robinson, III, (Ericka), Court- ney Robinson (Cleveland), Kris- tian Robinson (Diamond), Kristaney Robinson; great grandchildren, Edgar Robinson, IV, Ed Xavier Robinson, Jy’Quise Robinson, Ryleigh Perry, Enigel Robinson, Kristian Robinson, Jr., JaMarcus Russ, Jr., Kendrick Robinson, Eleven Robinson; close friends, Thelma Thomas, Martha Donnell, Betty Jackson; goddaughter, Tasha McMillian; honorary grand- daughter, LaNitra Anderson; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, neighbors and friends.

Deacon Timothy Thomas was a native of Seffner, FL, and a res- ident of Tampa for 64 years. He attended Brandon High School. He was employed as a machinist at Mantua.
He leaves to cherish his memory: a devoted wife, Judy Thomas; son, Raymond Coles (Aquarius); daughters, Shenitta Brown (Kharon), Tamesha Hi- laire (Darius); brothers, Edward Bates (Patricia), Lee Hardy Thomas, Kim Thomas, Rodrick Thomas; sisters, Victoria Rogers-Green, Eula Edwards- Phillips; aunt, Erma Wylie, 7 grandchildren; godsons, James (JP) Pickens (Kimberlee), and Xavier Light; and a host of fam- ily and friends.
