Isaiah Thomas Could Be Playing For Cavs This Week
ISAIAH THOMAS
Isaiah Thomas played Santa Claus on last Wednes- day. Soon, he'll be playing point guard for the Cavaliers.
Thomas said he could be on the floor in games as early as this week for Cleveland after being sidelined with a hip injury that knocked him out of last season's playoffs. Thomas has progressed to the point where he will be scrimmaging 5 on 5 in the next few days with the possibility of playing in games with the Cavs before the year ends.
"When that time comes to where I'll be out there, I'm sure everybody is going to know and I'll be out there playing the way I've always played," said Thomas, who hosted a holiday party for some area kids at the team's training facility. "I'm just try- ing to get as close as 100 per- cent as possible and to be out there to be special. Not just to be out there and be another body. However long that takes - it might be next week, it might be a week after that. We don't know and we're really not trying to put a date on it because it just depends on how my recovery is.
"I'm ramping up my work- outs, but at the same time it's how I feel the next day, and it's getting lighter and lighter, which is a good sign."
Thomas is as close as ever to making his debut with Cleveland, which acquired him last summer in the block- buster trade that sent Kyrie Irving to Boston. Since train- ing camp opened, the Cavs' timeline for Thomas was for him to be playing games by the end of December.
Dwyane Wade And Gabrielle Union Are The Best Sports Couple Of 2017
GABRIELLE UNION AND DWYANE WADE
   BEAUTY UNLIMITED
KIM
This week, we honor Kim as our Spotlight feature. Although her looks are stunning, don’t think for one minute she’s not ac- customed to working hard to achieve her goals. She wants every- one to know that she is a force to be reckoned with, and she won’t stop until she reaches her goal of total success. Kim is never so busy that she forgets her friends and family, as well as the others who have supported her along the way. Let’s all learn a lot from Kimmy and congratulate her for appearing as this week’s Spotlight feature.
It’s too simplistic to say that Dwyane Wade and Gabrielle Union are #Cou- pleGoals, even if they seem to embody a level of relationship perfection that most of us can never hope to attain. Not only are they both ridiculously good looking and charming and funny and supremely tal- ented individuals, but, they then combine their super powers for something that’s even more delightful the sum of its parts.
There are a lot of really great sports couples, but when picking who should wear the crown in 2017, Union and Wade are the obvious choice for the sheer synchronicity they seem to share with each other.
Or this level of outfit coor- dination?
It’s obvious that they take such total joy in each other and their lives, and that en- thusiasm never feels forced or
inauthentic. It also doesn’t mean that they place a rose colored filter on their lives, like so many couples do with social media. They never shied away from difficult top- ics but rather embraced them with their trademark faith and positivity.
This was the year that Wade went to the Cavs, Union spoke about her own sexual assault and became a New York Times best selling author for her book We’re Going to Need More Wine: Stories That Are Funny, Com- plicated, and True.
They’ve also both been in- credibly willing to share their lives with the rest of the world. Union and Wade’s Instagram accounts have been a kind of voyeuristic escape that showcase both the mun- dane daily routines of famous people, like workouts and meal prep, alongside glam- orous events like the Emmys.
Khloé Kardashian Confirms Pregnancy With Tristan Thompson, Debuts Baby Bump
KHLOE KARDASHIAN AND TRISTAN THOMPSON
After months of specula- tion, Khloé Kardashian has finally confirmed that she and NBA star Tristan Thompson are expecting.
On Wednesday, Kar- dashian took to Instagram to share a sweet message to Thompson, as well as her excitement over their new lit-
tle one.
“My greatest dream real-
ized! We are having a baby!” she wrote. “I had been waiting and wondering but God had a plan all along. He knew what He was doing. I simply had to trust in Him and be patient. I still at times can’t believe that our love created life!”
