HBO Picks Up 2 New Issa Rae Shows
Morgan Freeman And Misty Copeland Have Key Roles In Disney’s The Nutcraker
HBO is not only developing one new series from Issa Rae....but two!
The premium cabler has picked up two new shows, the comedy, Him Or Her, and the drama, Sweet Life. Both are a part of the first-look deal she signed with the network in 2016.
Him Or Her is EP'd by Rae and former The Daily Show writer, Travon Free. It's description: "The single-camera half-hour chronicles the dating life of a bisexual black man and the distinctly different worlds and relationships he finds himself in." Free is also writing the comedy series.
This very well may be the first television show to center the focus on a black, LGBT

Sweet Life is "a coming of
age tale of the well-heeled teens growing up" in the "Black Beverly Hills" neighbor- hood of Windsor Hills.
Rae co-created the series with Scandal producer Raamla Mohamed.
Disney has dropped a teaser trailer, The Nutcracker And The Four Realms, their live-ac- tion adaptation of 1816's The Nutcracker And The Mouse King, which itself is the basis for the famous ballet of the same name.
Directed by Lasse Hall- strom and produced by Mark Gordon, Its stars include Mackenzie Foy, Keira Knightley, Mor- gan Freeman, Matthew Macfadyen and Helen Mir- ren.
The film also features a per- formance by Misty Copeland in the role of a lead ballerina.
It's description: All Clara (Mackenzie Foy) wants is a key – a one-of-a-kind key that will unlock a box that holds a

Tiffany Haddish’s Ex Husband Suing Her For Defamation
Chance The Rapper was the guest weatherman during sta- tion’s toy drive segment in Chicago recently.
Tiffany Haddish‘s ex is set to sue her for defamation.
William Stewart wasn’t thrilled when he read the claims Haddish made in her book, The Last Black Uni- corn. In the book, Haddish described domestic abuse so bad that she lost an unborn fetus because of it.
Stewart disputed those claims, and now, he’s re- tained Atlanta attorneys Michael T. Ster- ling and E. Carlos Tanner III to file libel and defamation claims against the Girls Trip star.

recent legal woes.
After the book’s release, Stewart took to Instagram to defend himself.
I have NEVER HIT or beat a woman in my life. I’m hurting and thanks.”
As for Haddish, she admit- ted that some of the claims in the book were juiced up by her editors.
However, the claims might not be so outlandish. Accord- ing to Los Angeles Superior Court documents obtained by Radar, Haddish filed the re- straining order in July 2011.
In the documents, she ex- plained numerous instances of abuse that closely match the stories she told in her book.
Chance the Rapper stepped into the role of weatherman dur- ing an appearance on WGN’s morning show.
The Grammy Award-winning artist appeared on the segment for the 15th annual WGN Morn- ing News Toy Drive.
Veteran weatherman Paul Konard offered the Chicago na- tive some advice before he took over: “I’ve been doing this for 20 years. All you have to do is really just smile, be relatively sexy, just read some numbers and you’re good to go!”
Nelly Rape Accuser Suing Him, Although Criminal Case Is Dropped
 ‘The Voice’ Season 12
Nelly is now facing a legal battle. The 21-year-old woman who accused the 43-year-old rapper of rape, has plans to sue.
The woman is still claiming he sexually assaulted her on his tour bus and later dam- aged her reputation by refut- ing her account.
The Seattle Times reported Wednesday that Monique Greene’s lawsuit against Nelly, whose real name is Cornell Haynes Jr., seeks unspecified damages.
The rapper was arrested on his tour bus in a suburban Seattle Walmart parking lot in October.
Prosecutors said they weren’t charging him because the woman wasn’t cooperating with the case.

On the record, the singer- songwriter reminds the world win he won The Voice by show- casing his undeniable and pow- erhouse vocals.
