The political invincibility of Governor Ron DeSan - tis is melting away according
to recent poll showing a dramatic shift in support to Democratic opponent Char - lie Crist.
The poll was taken after DeSantis shipped legal im - migrants from Texas to Martha ’s Vineyard , Massa - chusetts .The poll featured in Newsweek and Nate Sil - ver’s 538 shows Crist lead- ing DeSantis by 6 points , which is beyond the margin of error and a 12-point swing in Crist’s favor.
“When you are this inhu - mane in how you treat human beings , you are not qualified to be governor of anything ,” Crist said . “It’s amazing to me what he is willing to do for sheer politi - cal gain ,to use people in this horrific way.”
Pressured to justify what
was called a “stunt,” costing taxpayers $615,000.00, Gov . DeSantis said he did it “to protect Florida ”from il - legal aliens . Of course , the Venezuelans were in Florida legally.
DeSantis mimicked the same strategy used by segre- gationists in 1962 . Southern governors calling themselves The Citizens Counci lused the same false promises of jobs and housing to bus African Americans to the Kennedy Compound in Hyannis , on Cape Cod , Massachusetts . AndasinMartha ’sVineyard , instead of rejection , the groups were welcomed and helped.
Jeff Moore, a recent De- Santis appointee to the Gadsden County Commis - sion , abruptly resigned from the post on September 23 , 2022 , and asked to be re- moved from the November ballot . Pictures surfaced of a smiling Moore wearing Ku

   President Biden Report
 Part 2
No, he has not been perfect in curbing inflation, ap- pointing Asians, withdrawing from Afghanistan, and in convincing GOP Congress members to support his “Build Back Better Plan,” however, he has accom- plished numerous policy/funding changes.
Health/COVID-19 accomplishments include adding $25 million to make vaccines more accessible and more widely distributed which resulted in an increase from 16.5 million to 209 million full vaccinations and 249 million one dose vaccinations over a 16-month pe- riod. President Biden provided funding for ALS dis- ease and expanded affordable healthcare for 5 million more Americans.
The president also made the environment a priority by rejoining the International Paris Climate Accord; signing an agreement targeting the reversal of defor- estation; and signing the 100-country pledge to reduce greenhouse emissions by at least 30% by 2030. Presi- dent Biden sealed his commitment to clean up our en- vironment by ordering all government agencies to stop financing new carbon intensive fossil fuel projects in favor of clean energy use.
President Biden’s accomplishment on economy/in- frastructure progress, included allocating $1.2 trillion for America’s infrastructure which will increase the in- vestment in the national network of bridges and roads, airports, public transportation, waterways, energy sys- tems, and broadband internet.
The restaurant and hospitality industry received $30 billion to shore up its survival. Moreover, the
Having shared earlier some of President Joe Biden’s accomplishments in the areas of education, employ- ment, and federal appointments, we reviewed Presi- dent Biden’s accomplishments in the areas of the environment, the economy, infrastructure and health/COVID-19. We believe in “giving credit when/where credit is due, and President Biden de- serves credit for his 16 months of accomplishments.

Klux Klan garb . In letters to DeSantis and Gadsden County Elections Supervisor Shirley Knight Moore said ,“forpersonalreasons ,I am no longer able to con - tinue( the campaign ).” Gads - den County is Florida ’ s only Blackmajoritycounty.
Gov . DeSantisproblems keep piling up. He is mis- reading voters badly accord - ing to Greg Fink , a conservative strategic con - sultant with The Listener Group that did the recent poll. Fink says DeSantis ’s decline in support began when he started targeting school boards that disobeyed his school mask bans. Fink said DeSantis was leading by 9 points in three polls ,but by June he was tied with Crist.
Fink said, “All of a sud-
den he just got behind and hasn’t come back from it.” The Listener Group’s accu- racy backs up its numbers. It predicted Trump’s 2016 vic- tory and Crist’s win over Nikki Fried in August.
DeSantis’s political woes ticked up a notch as his mentor Donald Trump is now openly attacking him. In news headlines Trump said, 'I Made Him': Trump Calls DeSantis 'Ungrateful,' Won- ders 'Why He Doesn't Appre- ciate Me More.' Trump has also called donors and asked them to stop contributing to DeSantis.
Now there’s serious doubt that the former president will endorse his apprentice in his bid for re-election. That will tear into his base causing MAGA voters to stay away from the polls.
Semiconductor Industry and Scientific Research in Chips and Science Act was passed to stimulate the computer chip industry.
Other accomplishments include: a moratorium on federal executions which Trump reinstated after a 17-year hiatus; attack on cancer (cancer moonshot); plans to restore the “made in America” production; expanded the child tax credit; released oil reserves to lower the price of gasoline, and increased funding for Supplemental Nutrition Program by 15%.
We believe President Biden has kept many of his promises in a short span of time.
