Lash Extension Specialist And Esthetician Incorporates Healing Practices In Her Work
BY MONIQUE STAMPS Sentinel Staff Writer
From Instagram to TikTok to famous celebrities, lashes are a big business. Lash exten- sions have become a regular beauty treatment, and almost as popular as a pedicure.
Tampa’s Studio K was orig- inally Studio K Lash and Nail Salon. After owner Kaytrina ‘Trina’ Glenn reopened as a healing center and changed the focus of her business, Studio K
needed a lash extension spe- cialist who had the same goal of healing and helping in mind. She found a jewel in Tracy Khayenko.
Tracy was born in Arizona and moved around a lot due to being a military baby. She spent the longest amount of time in Ohio, where she started her business as an esthetician. She began doing lash exten- sions in 2006 and was one of the first lash extension special- ists in Cincinnati. She brings
over 16 years of experience to Studio K.
In Cincinnati, the salon where she honed her lash serv- ices was a downtown location, like her business at Studio K Salon in downtown Tampa. That business was also a holis- tic care salon and Tracy states that her business has come full circle.
Tracy specializes in classic, hybrid, and mega volume lashes. She also provides lash lifts and lash tinting services.
A trained esthetician, Tracy excels at facials, referring to herself as a skin care healer.
“I like to infuse the use of crystals and stones to promote a well-balanced inner energy flow,” says Tracy.
A few of the facials she of- fers are the Karmic facial and the Alchemist Love Spell facial.
Tracy says that the Al- chemist Love Spell facial is one of her favorites, "it infuses the use of rose quartz to promote all levels of love including self- love, to remove emotional blockages, inner healing and feelings of peace!”
Most of her facials include light therapy with a near in- frared option.
She also offers expertise in dermaplaning, microder- mabrasion, and hydro facials as well.
