HCC DIVERSITY COUNCIL HOSTS ‘COURAGEOUS CONVERSATIONS’
Recently, the Hillsborough Community College College-Wide Diversity Council hosted “Courageous Conversations.” The event was held in the Student Services Building Auditorium at the Brandon Campus. The Council assembled a diverse representation from law enforcement, education, and governmental officials to discuss the “School to Prison Pipeline” trend. The conference fea- tured a group of panelists who discussed the phenomena that affects minority and at-risk children throughout the nation.
