Kobe Bryant Leaves With Lower Leg Contusion
Divorce Between WNBA Players Gets Nastier; One Gets Kicked Out Of House
According to new court docs filed in the case of the divorcing WNBA stars Glory Johnson and Britney Griner — this time, the judge has awarded Griner temporary exclusive use of the home while the cou- ple works to finalize their split.
According to the docs, Johnson must be out effective immediately — and has to schedule a date with Griner to go back to the home so she can pick up her personal belong- ings, including clothing, toi- letries and luggage.
But there’s a huge catch ... Glory must be accompanied by a police officer, to make sure there’s no funny business when she gets to the home. Also, she only gets 20 minutes to get her stuff and leave.

Johnson is now pregnant with twins and due in January — and says she planned the pregnancy WITH Griner ... though Griner hasn’t said if she plans to have a role in the kids’ lives.

KOBE BRYANT
LAS VEGAS -- Los Angeles Lakers star Kobe Bryant left Tuesday's preseason game against the Sacramento Kings in the third quarter after suffer- ing a lower leg contusion and did not return to the game.
The 37-year-old, who has suffered a season-ending injury in three consecutive seasons, appeared to suffer the bruise on a drive to the rim with 9:19 in the third quarter at the MGM Grand Garden Arena.
Bryant checked out of the game and was being tended to by the Lakers' medical staff. Bryant finished with 10 points on 4-of-12 shooting in 18 min- utes.
Bryant, who is entering his 20th season with the team, re- turned to action this preseason after being out for nine months to rehab a torn rotator cuff in his right shoulder, which ended his 2014-15 season after 35 games.
Cowboys Will Start Matt Cassel At QB After Bye Week
Atlanta Hawk Player Acquitted In NY Case About Confrontation With Police
Atlanta Hawks player Thabo Sefolosha was acquitted last Friday in a case stemming from a police scuffle in which he suf- fered a fractured right leg.
A Manhattan jury deliber- ated for about an hour and found Sefolosha not guilty of misdemeanor obstructing gov- ernment administration, disor- derly conduct and resisting arrest.
“They were on the side of truth and justice today. ... I’m just happy all this is over now and I can put this behind me, knowing my name has been cleared,” Sefolosha, 31, told reporters.
The guard-forward was ac- cused of repeatedly disobeying the orders of officers telling him to leave the area around the club where another NBA player, Chris Copeland, had been stabbed in the April 8 in-

The Dallas Cowboys, who are winless in three games without Tony Romo as their starting quarterback, intend to start Matt Cassel under cen- ter when they return from their bye week, a league source stated.
Brandon Weeden, who has been the starter during Dallas' three-game losing streak, was informed by Cow- boys coaches that Cassel will start in Week 7 against the New York Giants, according to the source.
Cassel, who was acquired in a trade with the Bills after Romo was injured in Week 2, was promoted to the No. 2 quarterback spot last week ahead of Kellen Moore.
Cassel spent his first two games with the Cowboys as the inactive third quarterback but recently said he is comfortable with the playbook and can exe- cute the offense.
The quarterback switch comes after the Cowboys lost to the defending Super Bowl champion Patriots while failing

to score a touchdown for the first time since 2011. In that game, Weeden completed five of 15 passes thrown more than five yards down the field, with the first completion on such at- tempts coming with the Cow- boys trailing 20-3.
After the game, owner Jerry Jones said the Cowboys would devote themselves to playing better football and improving the offense, hinting at a poten- tial quarterback change.
"We have to play better on offense, and that usually in- cludes better quarterback play,'' Jones said.
