Back Together On-Screen: Taye Diggs Joins Maurice Chestnut On ‘Rosewood’
Taye Diggs will join Maurice Chestnut on FOX series ‘Rose- wood’.
Taye Diggs (The Best Man Holiday) has landed a recur- ring role on Fox freshman drama series Rosewood. Cre- ated by Todd Harthan, Rose- wood stars Morris Chestnut as Dr. Beaumont Rosewood Jr., a private pathologist in Miami who partners with De- tective Annalise Villa (Jaina Lee Ortiz). Diggs will play Mike Boyce, a world- renowned infectious disease doctor based in Miami and the longtime best friend of Dr. Beaumont Rosewood (Morris Chestnut), who is brought in to consult on a case and catches the eye of Detective Villa, much to Rosewood’s surprise. It’s a reunion for Diggs and Chestnut, who starred in the hit feature The Best Man and sequel The Best Man Holiday.

they were kids.

King Bach, Bachelor has become Vine’s biggest star, boasting 14 million followers and 5.1 billion loops. The Groundlings alum has par- layed his Vine success into a rising acting career with re- curring roles on The Mindy Project, House Of Lies and Black Jesus. He also ap- peared on Key & Peele.
This is Key and Peele’s first TV series project since they recently ended their suc- cessful Comedy Central sketch comedy series Key & Peele, which the duo created, execu- tive produced and starred in.

Snoop had his own fam- ily based reality show on E! called Snoop Dogg’s Father Hood. The 5-part Snoop & Son: A Dad’s Dream docu- mentary also aired on ESPN.
‘12 Years A Slave’ Director Set To Direct ‘L.A. Riots’
John Ridley, the Oscar- winning scribe of 12 Years A Slave, is now set to direct his Los Angeles Riots script. In its most ambitious move so far, upstart Broad Green Pictures is partnering with Imagine En- tertainment to produce and distribute a movie that is unti- tled but has had numerous manifestations over the years as Imagine’s Brian Grazer developed it at Universal Pic- tures and almost got it made with Spike Lee directing. Amber Rose and Blac Chyna have canned their real- ity TV show. The BFFs have decided to not to proceed with taking their talents to the small screen due to being too busy with other business en- deavors, TMZ reports.
Muva Rosebud is work- ing on getting her own talk show while Blac Chyna claims to have many product
deals in the works that are consuming her time.
Though they say they’re making business moves, there is speculation that the two are not friends anymore and don’t want to film together anymore. Blac Chyna was not at Rose’s Slut Walk in Los An- geles and was instead spend- ing time with Future.
