Terrence Howard Asks Judge To Undo Divorce Settlement
Terrence Howard is in court attempting to get his divorce settlement with ex-wife Michelle Ghent overturned.
The “Empire” star was ex- pected to testify during the hearing that began Tuesday.
Howard contends that the 2012 agreement dictating how Ghent would be paid was ex- torted by Ghent by threatening to leak embarrassing informa- tion about his sex life. Ghent’s lawyers say she denies Howard’s claim.
Ghent has accused Howard of domestic violence and is seeking money she says is owed under their divorce set-

married in 2010. She filed for divorce a year later.
Timbaland To Drop Aaliyah’s Unreleased Music
Earlier this year, indie direc- tor Bobby Huntley created a faux film trailer for a New Edi- tion movie he wanted to make in hopes of creating buzz and interest. Well, it looks like the effort indeed peaked some in- terest because the word got around and BET has picked up the rights to a three-night mini- series about the beloved R&B boy group.
According to Variety, a direc- tor has yet to be selected so Huntley may make a proposal to do the job. However, the five group members: Ricky Bell, Michael Bivins, Ronnie DeVoe, Johnny Gill and Ralph Tresvant, will co-pro- duce the project along with their longtime manager,
Brooke Payne (Bobby Brown isn’t mentioned as being a part of the project).
Variety states that Jesse Collins Entertainment will ex- ecutive produce the mini-se- ries. Abdul Williams (Lottery Ticket) will pen the script.
A statement by the group members reveals they are eager to tell their story. “From our beginning in the Orchard Park Projects in Boston to Holly- wood and everything in be- tween, just like The Temptations and the Jack- son 5, we are ready to retrace our footsteps and show every- one how we got here.”
The biopic is slated to pre- miere in 2016.
For years, various people have wanted to get their hands on Aaliyah's unreleased music (and some were successful, i.e. Timbaland was one of the main producers that worked with the singer extensively, but he laid low when others at- tempted to use her unreleased music -- until now.
Over the weekend, the mega producer revealed on Instagram that he's planning on dropping some never-before heard tunes from the late star.
This is great news for her fans! Timbo knew Aaliyah well and had a great relationship with her, so anything he re- leases MUST be legit and at the approval of her family.
2 Unions Want Actors ‘Not To’ Work For Tyler Perry
Two actors unions are forbid- ding their members from par- ticipating in Tyler Perry's stage play Madea on the Run.
According to Deadline, the Actors' Equity Association union put the production on its "do not work" list. Apparently, Perry's production company has yet to sign a contract with Equity. Those kinds of con- tracts dictate such things as how much actors will be paid, and when and if actors will re- ceive residual payments if a project goes into syndication or is featured on another plat- form.
The other union, the Screen Actors Guild-American Feder- ation of Television and Radio Artists, doesn't even represent stage actors, but it has an agreement with Equity to for- bid its members from working on any projects that appear on Equity's "do not work" list.
TYLER PERRY
Both unions mean business, too. SAG-AFTRA says that if it finds out that any of its mem- bers work on Perry's play, it'll be viewed as conduct that is "unbecoming a member"— which in layman's terms means that it could affect one's mem- bership in the union.
Most of these disputes are about parties not agreeing on how much actors should be paid.
Empire Tour Bus Bypasses Ferguson After Unrest
Citing the current unrest in Ferguson, Fox has opted to forgo the scheduled Tuesday stop of its “Empire” bus tour in nearby St. Louis, reports Bill- board.
The decision was reportedly made at the 11th hour on Mon- day night. The show an- nounced that its “Next Empire Artist” bus tour instead took place in Kansas City, beginning Wednesday.
The bus was scheduled to stop at Ballpark Village, across the street from Busch Stadium in downtown St. Louis. As pre- viously reported, the bus fea- tures a recording studio where fans can record their own ver- sions of “Empire” hits. The 15- date tour also gives singers a chance to win a cameo on the show.
No word yet on whether the bus will make a return visit to

St. Louis at a later date. After Kansas City, the Empire tour will carry on to Dallas, New Or- leans and Nashville.
The announcement came shortly after officials in St. Louis County declared a state of emergency following a vio- lent night of unrest in Fergu- son on the one-year anniversary of Michael Brown’s death.
