MRS. FLARRIA MAE TIM CROSS
Mrs. Flarria Mae Tim Cross passed away on Friday, June 10, 2022. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 25, 2022, 11:00 a.m. at Ray Williams Me- morial Chapel, 301 N. Howard Avenue, Tampa, FL. 33606, with Reverend Prentiss Davis, officiat- ing. MASK RECOMMENDED.
Mrs. Cross was born April 22, 1925, a native of Tampa, FL, and a resident of Tampa for 97 years. She was the youngest child born to the late Albert and Leona Watkins Tim. She attended Mid- dleton High School and gradu- ated in 1943. After graduation, she worked as a Dietician for The Hillsborough County Schools and was a Housekeeper for Mr. and Mrs David Hyman until her re- tirement.
She was preceded in death by: her oldest son, Theodore Cross.
She leaves to cherish her memories: her youngest son, Leo A. Cross; grandchildren, Sonyetta Pyles (Vern), Theodore Muhammad (Yvonne), Brian Cross, Joris Cross, Tiffany Cross, and Marlon Griffie (Megan Chrysler); 17 great grands; 5 great great grands; sister-in-law, Jean Tim; and nieces, nephews, caretakers, friends, and neigh- bors.
The visitation will be held from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, June 24, 2022, at Ray Williams Funeral Home, 301 N. Howard Avenue, Tampa, FL 33606. MASK RECOMMENDED.

    JIM LEE STAFFORD JUNIOR
Home going services cele- brating the life of Jim Lee Stafford, Jr., who served his country honorably in the U.S., Army before passing away on June 16, 2022 in the James A. Haley Veterans Hospital will be held Saturday, June 25, 2022 at 12 noon, at Harmon Funeral Home 5002 North 40th Street, Tampa, Florida 33610 with Pas- tor Arthur Randall, officiating. Interment with military honors will be rendered in Florida Na- tional Cemetery on Monday June 27, 2022.
Jim was born to Rosa Lee Moore, mother and Jim Lee Stafford Sr., father on March 31, 1958. Jim was a graduate of Leto High School, home of the Fal- cons in 1976. After graduating high school, he enlisted in the U.S. Army for 3 years and re- ceived an honorable discharge. He worked in construction for a number of years and was later employed by Coleman American Van lines. Jim loved people, but most of all he loved the Lord and he was a child of God.
Jim was preceded in death by: his father Jim Lee Stafford, Sr; mother, Rosalie Moore; sis- ter, Rose M. Buie Randall; and brother, Irvin Moore Jr.
He leaves to cherish his memories: 1 son Roderick L Stafford and wife, Jasmine; 1 daughter, Shalonda Roberts; 3 grandsons Robert Fletcher III; Roderick L. Stafford Jr., and Rashawn R. Stafford; 2 grand- daughters, Rashonda Fletcher, and Ronisha Fletcher; 5 great grandsons, Earl Williams Jr, Isa- iah Young, Tar’keith Muldrew, Jayceon Muldrew, and Tayden Muldrew; 1 great-granddaugh- ter, E’liyah Williams; brothers, Carnell Buie, Jr., and wife, Mary, and Gregory Stafford; 2 sisters, Ethel Stafford Childs, Annita Stafford Young and husband, Fred; sister-in-law, Birdie Moore; a host of sorrowing nieces, nephews, and cousins in- cluding the entire Walker, Tol- bert and Stafford families; a devoted friend, Linda Mann Hardy; best friend, Eddie Lester, and the 38th Ave. neighbors. Visitation will be held on Fri- day June 24, 2022 from 5 p.m. to 8p.m. at Harmon Funeral Home.

Ms. Belinda Marie Lewis was a native of Tampa, Florida. Born to the parentage of William Oliver Lewis Sr. and Susie Marie Padgett Lewis. She was educated in Hillsborough County Public Schools, and a graduate of Earl C. Clements Job Corps Center in Morganfield, Ky.
Belinda was preceded in death by: her parents; William Oliver Lewis Sr. and Susie Marie Padgett Lewis; grandfather; William Oliver Minger, grandfa- ther; Benjamin Odel Padgett, grandmother; Eunice Padgett, grandmother, Hattie Mucher- son, great-grandmother, Susie Padgett; great-grandmother, Flossy Mutcherson.
Belinda leaves to cherish lov- ing memories: 3 sons; Henry Emanuel, Jeff Lewis, and So- mali Lewis; 1 daughter, Azeliah Lewis; a host of grandchildren; 4 brothers, William O. Lewis, Jr., John Lewis, Benzel Lewis, and Leeland Lewis, 2 sisters, Elizabeth Robinson and Senovia Lewis; a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

MRS. JUANITA UNDERWOOD
Mrs. Juanita Underwood passed away on Friday, June 10, 2022. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 25, 2022, 11:00 a.m. at Allen Temple AME Church, 2101 Lowe Street, Tampa, FL 33605, Reverend Dr. Rayford Harper of First Baptist Church of West Tampa, officia- ting. The interment will be held at Myrtle Hill Memorial Park Cemetery at a later scheduled date.
Mrs. Underwood was born November 16, 1950, in Tampa, Florida, to the parents of Rubin Padgett, Sr. (the first African American elected to Hillsbo- rough County’s Board of County Commission) and Richiedeen Padgett (Accountant & Health- care provider). In her adoles- cent years, she would spend weekends with her grandmot- her, Susie Padgett of Padgett Nursing home (the first black- owned nursing home). As a youth, she enjoyed traveling and spending time at the beaches, movie theaters, and local spor- ting events. Juanita attended Middleton High School, one of two segregated Tampa high schools during the 1960s. She left the Tampa Bay area to at- tend Talladega College (Alaba- ma’s oldest private historically Black Liberal Arts College foun- ded in 1867) on a full academic scholarship. Juanita pursued her love for education by majo- ring in Physical Science Educa- tion and graduating with honors. She maintained her in- terest in singing by singing in the college choir. In 1969, she was inducted into Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. In 2019, she gained the prestigious recogni- tion of Golden Soror for her life- long leadership and service to all mankind.
Juanita was a devoted edu- cator and served in Hillsbo- rough County Public Schools for more than 40 years. Continuing her love for education, Juanita went back to school and earned a master’s degree in Adminis-
trative Education at the Univer- sity of South Florida, after which she was transferred to Sligh Middle School and was promoted to Assistant Princi- pal. She became the principal and spent more than 20 years at Sligh Middle School; often tea- ching the second and third ge- nerations of her former students.
Juanita married her high school sweetheart, Ralph Un- derwood, Sr. in Georgia, and they returned to Tampa Bay in 1972. The two of them started a family with the birth of their daughter, Tracie Lowe, CPA (a Certified Public Accountant) and Chef Ralph Underwood, II (a highly decorated Culinary Chef & Educator).
Through her love for her children, Mrs. Underwood be- came the Director of Education for OnPoint Futures, Inc. and an angel investor in Spice Me Enterprises, Inc. OnPoint Futu- res, Inc. is a 501c(3) corpora- tion founded by Jerome and Tracie Lowe. Spice Me Enterpri- ses, Inc., founded by Ralph Un- derwood, provides catering services and unique mixes of spices in recipes. Juanita lived life to the fullest and spent her time as an avid bowler, movie- goer, dancer, and traveler. She will not only be remembered for leaving a legacy in her career/professional life but, she will also be remembered as the life of the party.
She leaves to cherish her lo- ving memories: children, Tracie (Jerome) Lowe, and Ralph (Le- Quisha) Underwood, II; grand- children, Lowe, Jessica, Alisha, Jerome Jr., Jasmine, Aussie, Anise, and Alina; grandchildren Underwood - Gavin and Amp; Kyla; siblings, James Padgett (Linda), Earl Johnson (Brenda), Rubin Padgett, Jr., (Cynthia), Nolan Padgett (Sheila), and Rashonda Powe; a host of nieces, nephews, cou- sins, friends, and other relati- ves. She was an animal lover and leaves behind her adoring German Shepherds, Lacy, Lady, and Tropical.
The visitation will be held from 4:00 – 6:30 P.M. on Fri- day, June 24, 2022, and the Ivy Beyond the Wall Ceremony will begin at 6:30 P.M. The Services will be held at Ray Williams Fu- neral Home, 301 N. Howard Avenue, Tampa, Florida 33606. MASKS RECOMMENDED.
