What's Next For LeBron And Cavs?
To Be Inducted Into Hall Of Fame
Accidentally Admit
CLEVELAND -- It is deci- sion time again for LeBron James.
Where he'll end up after his latest potential foray into free agency likely won't be as intriguing as the how.
James' foreseeable fu- ture is in Cleveland. With the ability to opt out of the two- year deal he signed with the Cavaliers last offseason, James must now decide just how much he wants to influ- ence the Cavs as they enter a summer full of uncertainty and potentially massive spending.
As if the Golden State Warriors' championship cele- bration on the Cavs' floor Tuesday night wasn't bad enough, the Cavs' immediate future is troublesome: James, Kevin Love, Tris- tan Thompson, Iman Shumpert, J.R. Smith and Matthew Dellavedova could all be free agents by July 1.
James, Love and Smith have player options for next season and all are expected to decline them. Thompson, Shumpert and Dellave- dova are expected to receive qualifying offers from the Cavs and they will become re- stricted free agents, giving the team the right to match any offer they receive. And the ex- tensions Kyrie Irving (five years, $90 million) and An- derson Varejao (two years, $20.3 million) signed last year are also set to kick in.
Internally, the Cavs have discussed their payroll need- ing to balloon to between $100 million and $110 mil- lion for next season, accord- ing to sources.
If they actually hit the top end of that salary threshold, it
Former World Heavy- weight Boxing champion, Tony “TNT” Tucker, who is also a current resident of the Tampa Bay area, will be in- ducted into the Florida Boxing Hall of Fame on Sunday, June 21st at 11 a. m.
The ceremony is being held at the Holiday Inn West- shore.
Tucker was a National AAU light Heavyweight Champion and also held the USA heavyweight title, and is a two-time NABF heavyweight champion. Tucker held the California State Heavyweight title, and was a gold medalist at the Pan American Games.
Tucker, now 56, beat James “Buster” Douglas in 1987 to become the IBF heavyweight champion. How- ever 64-days later, he lost a 12-round decision to Mike Tyson in a heavyweight unifi- cation bout.

Tucker is a world class ex- pert on how to get back up when life knocks you down. He is frequently called upon to share his story with athletes, musicians, celebrities, execu- tives and churches.
Tucker is described as a passionate, engaging and in- spiring man and delivers a knock out presentation from his experiences inside and outside of the ring as a mem- ber of the elite class of World Heavyweight Boxing Champi- ons.
On Tuesday before Game 6 of the NBA Fi- nals, Dwayne Wade acci- dentally re- minded the
DWAYNE world that his WADE future with the Miami Heat is uncertain. During the pre- game show, the star guard ca- sually began a sentence with,
“WhenIwasinMiami...” Was it a slip of the tongue? Semantics? Or did Dwyane Wade tip his hand and give viewers an announcement no
one expected?
Tiger Woods Burns Reporter Who Asked If He Could Still Win The U. S. Open
TIGER WOODS
Tiger Woods sat down for his pre-U.S. Open press conference on Tuesday where he faced a wide variety of questions about his game, his swing, and whether he could still compete in the U. S. Open.
In all Tiger was about as pleasant as he always is in press conferences — which can be safely classified as ‘moder- ately pleasant’ — but he still displayed the same hard edge that the media has grown used to. Especially during one of the questions, a reasonable one, when a reporter asked Tiger why he still thinks he can win a U. S. Open. He took a moment to absorb the question, calmly looked up, and answered suc- cinctly.
“Um, I’ve won three of these.”
LeBron James can opt out of the two-year deal he signed with the Cavs last offseason.
would put owner Dan Gilbert on the hook for more than $75 million in luxury tax payments and bring the team near the record $193 million in taxes and salaries the Brooklyn Nets spent in 2013- 14.
Gilbert, who has seen his estimated net worth quadru- ple to more than $4 billion during the decade he has owned the Cavs, has indi- cated numerous times he is willing to spend. To keep James committed, Gilbert has no choice. But he'd prob- ably prefer it if James' com- mitment was just as deep in terms of length of years. And that likely won't be the case for the time being.
When James does re- sign with the Cavs this sum- mer, it's probable it will be to another one-year contract plus a player option. Even if this route makes financial sense for James with the salary cap expected to surge following the 2016-17 season, it will keep the Cavs uncom- fortable going forward.
Ideally for the Cavs, James would come into his exit meeting with strong opinions: Sign this guy at any cost; don't worry about this guy; try to keep this guy, but don't break the bank.

Former NFL Player Darren Sharper Pleads Guilty In New Orleans
Former NFL player Dar- ren Sharper pleaded guilty on Monday to drugging and raping three woman in New Orleans.
The plea is the last piece of a 'global' resolution to resolve Sharper's criminal charges without requiring trials in four separate states after he pleaded guilty or no contest in March to raping six other women in Los Angeles, Las Vegas and Tempe, Arizona.
Sharper, who has been in jail since February 2014 after he was arrested for rape charges in Los Angeles, will remain in prison for at least nine years under the plea deal.
He will then be tracked with a GPS for three to five years by California parole offi- cers before beginning a life- time probation term that will be administered in Arizona, according to the New Orleans
Advocate. Under his
parole and pro- bation agree- ments, once Sharper, 39, gets out of jail
DARREN he will never be SHARPER allowed to drink alcohol, go to bars or liquor stores, visit a sex shop or find a date on- line, among other restric-
tions.
If he violates any of the
terms, Sharper would be forced to serve at least another 14 years in prison before re- turning to the same strict con- ditions outside of cell walls.
As part of his global deal, Sharper has also agreed to share with investigators infor- mation he has about his co-de- fendants, Erik Nunez and Brandon Licciardio, who have both pleaded not guilty to rape and drugging charges.
