CDC OF TAMPA, INC. HOSTS ITS 23RD ANNIVERSARY LUNCHEON
On Tuesday, September 29th, members of the CDC of Tampa, Inc., (Corporation to Develop Communities of Tampa, Inc.), hosted their 23rd Annual Luncheon. The theme for the event was, “Paving Pathways From Poverty To Prosperity.” The luncheon was held at TPepin’s Hospitality Centre, 4121 North 50th Street. Donald L. Maxwell, former President of the Community Development Cor- poration of Kansas City, Missouri, delivered the Keynote Address. Among those in attendance at the annual affair were from left to right: Mrs. Gwen Myers, Ms. Stacey Banks, Mrs. Chloe Coney, founder of the CDC of Tampa, Inc., Donald L. Maxwell, guest speaker, Ms. Kelley Parris, Executive Director of the Children’s Board of Hillsborough County, Ernest Coney, Jr., President and Executive Di- rector of the CDC of Tampa, Inc., Mrs. Evangeline Best, and State Representative Ed Narain.
