Master P Finally Speaks Out About His Nasty Divorce
MASTER P
With a contentious court bat- tle currently playing out in the news, No Limit founder and hip-hop mogul Master P is fighting to clear his name against allegations made by his ex-wife, Sonja Miller.
Insisting that he’s simply doing what’s best for his chil- dren, he reveals that while he would love for his kids to be with their mother, her alleged drug use has contributed to the deterioration of their relation- ship, resulting in the children remaining in his care.
Speaking to AllHipHop he went further into detail ex- plaining,
No one wants to be with any- one if that is doing wrong. Maybe , maybe the court sys- tem should focus on that. Something is wrong with the picture when all 7 of the kids feel the same way and the words from Sonya’s own mouth were ‘Go live with your dad. My kids know I have a strong value system and edu- cation is first, so if they think it’s going to be a party, my house would not be the place. I’m going to put this in God’s hands.
Largely ignoring the press surrounding the former cou- ple’s ongoing court battle, he now feels that enough is enough.
CeeLo Green Reviving His Career With New Album And New Label
CeeLo Green has new album and joint venture with Sony and has been engaged for a year.
After a time away from the limelight, Jay Z and his label Roc Nation have welcomed Scottish songstress Emeli Sande to their roster!
Since the success of her last album Our Version of Events arrived in 2012, the album was poised to get the release treat- ment stateside, but after her di- vorce in November 2014,
Sande disappeared from the spotlight, and understandably
so.
Earlier this year, Sande temporarily came out of the shadows to let fans hear a song she’d been working on called “Don’t Fight The Bullet,” and if it’s any indication of her come- back.

That's why Lupita Nyong'o was the perfect choice to grace the cover of Essence maga- zine's January issue.
The 32-year-old looked ma- jestic while revealing why she returned to her craft onstage after winning an Academy Award. Nyong'o admitted she got caught up in the Hollywood whirlwind: 'I had talked so much about who I was that I'd forgotten who I was.'
“After ‘12 Years A Slave’ and the quote-unquote meteoric rise, I felt like there was a mo- ment where I was suffering from whiplash,' Lupita con- fessed.
The Kenyan beauty has spent the past few months in the hugely successful off-Broadway play, Eclipsed which was writ- ten by playwright, Danai Gurira.
In addition to starring in Eclipsed, Lupita will play Maz Kanata, a female pirate in

Chris Rock Being Investigated
50 Cent And Will Packer Team Up For
New Comedy On FOX
50 Cent and Will Packer
CeeLo Green is reviving his career and image with a new album and joint venture with Sony Music Entertain- ment.
The singer, who hasn’t had a hit since 2010’s “F - -k You,” released new album “Heart Blanche” last month and will be on the hunt to develop R&B/soul talent under his new Mothership Entertainment Group label, fully funded by Sony, according to Page Six.
Green, who dubs himself the Soul Machine, added, “I’m certain I can rise to the occasion. It will be my pleas- ure and duty.”
Recording a new album isn’t the only thing CeeLo Green has done in the last year: The singer revealed that he also proposed to his longtime girl-
friend.
Green, 41, told People mag-
azine that he’s been engaged to Shani James, 38, for about a year.
Green released the new album, “Heart Blanche,” on Nov. 6. In October, Green said it was “very possible” he could rejoin “The Voice,” where he was an original coach. But he left the show in 2014 after facing drug charges for allegedly giving a woman Ecstasy. He pleaded no-con- test, avoided jail, and stayed in touch with at least 15 contest- ants from the show, including fan favorite Nicholas David. There’s no word on whether he plans to sign any of his former “Voice” talent to his Mother- ship label.
Over South African Girl
He And Ex Were Raising
Chris Rock is facing a full- scale criminal investigation over raising a South African girl in his American home for al- most seven years without adopting her.
The comedian and his es- tranged wife's relationship with Ntombi-futhi Samantha is being looked into by an elite South African police unit over concerns she was taken out of the country without proper legal procedures being fol- lowed.
One officer compared the po- tential offense to 'child traffick- ing'.
The seven-year-old had been part of Rock's family since November 2008, when he and Malaak Compton- Rock brought her from South Africa to live in their home in Alpine, New Jersey, one of America's most affluent areas, with their two biological daughters.

quently described the South African girl as one of the cou- ple's three children.
But the comedian and his philanthropist wife split last year, and the girl's legal status has now become part of the di- vorce.
Rock appears to have had no contact with her since the estrangement from Compton- Rock last year, despite spend- ing time with their two other children.
It appears Fox is ready to ex- tend its rap themed line-up with an upcoming comedy from Curtis “50 Cent” Jack- son. After the huge success of Empire, the broadcast network has picked up 50 Cent’s My Friend 50.
Deadline reports the New York rapper will make occa- sional appearances on the new series. My Friend 50 centers around a woman named Amanda Kramer. The twenty-something ends up joining 50’s crew, and the en- tire experience is filmed as a
documentary which Kramer narrates. The concept sounds like a mesh between Entourage and The Office.
This latest venture joins 50’s hit Starz show Power and the Sundance TV reality series Dream School on the enter- tainment mogul’s television ré- sumé. Will Packer (Straight Outta Compton, Truth Be Told) is also serving as an exec- utive producer on My Friend 50 along with Jackson. The show was written by Ava Tramer (The Mindy Project, Trophy Wife) on spec.
