Reward Offered For Man Wanted For Two Murders

Crime Stoppers of Tampa Bay is offering a reward of $5,000 for information lead- ing to the location and arrest of a murder suspect. The murders took place 2 months apart.
According to the Tampa Police Department, one of the murders took place on No- vember 1, 2021. The second murder took place on January 3, 2022. Police are searching for Sherron McCombs. McCombs is considered to be armed and dangerous.

Police responded to the 100 block of W. Floribraska early Friday in reference to shots being fired.
When they arrived, they discovered the body of a 14- year-old Temple Terrace girl. She had been shot more than once. The shooting was re- ported at 3:58 a. m., Friday.
When police arrived at the scene, they discovered the teenager. She was later iden- tified as Nilexia Alexan- der, of Temple Terrace.
Police said she had been reported as a runaway.
During their investiga- tion, detectives learned Nilexia was known to spend time in the Jackson Heights area when she left her home

Police Conduct Death Investigation After 2 Found Dead

Tampa Man Pleads Guilty To Armed Carjacking
The Tampa Police Depart- ment is conducting a death investigation. Two people were found dead in the Mob- ley Park Apartments Tuesday around 5 p. m.
According to police, offi- cers were sent to the apart- ment to conduct a welfare
check. When they arrived, they located two deceased people inside the apartment.
Police said at this time, this appears to be an isolated incident. The names of the in- dividuals have not been re- leased and the investigation is continuing.
JAVEON JACOBS
A 22-year-old Tampa man pleaded guilty to dis- playing handguns during three carjackings. He entered the guilty plea on April 14, 2022.
Javeon Maurice Ja- cobs is facing a minimum mandatory term of 21 years in federal prison. His sen- tencing hearing has been set for July 13, 2022.
According to the plea agreement, on March 31, 2021, Jacobs used a firearm and physical force to carjack a vehicle in Safety Harbor. On April 18, 2021, Jacobs kidnapped two individuals at gunpoint in Tampa and took
their vehicle. After releasing those victims, Jacobs aban- doned their vehicle at an- other location in Tampa.
He then carjacked an- other vehicle, again by bran- dishing a firearm. The investigation is continuing.
