Resident Jumps From 2nd
One Killed During Shooting At Nightclub
The shooting took place at the Blue Lounge, 4201 W. Wa- ters Avenue.

Detectives are currently investigating a shooting that left one person dead. The shooting took place early Sunday at the Blue Lounge, 4201 W. Waters Avenue.
According to the Hillsbor- ough County Sheriff’s Office, around 3 a.m., Sunday, deputies responded to the Blue Lounge Nightclub in ref- erence to a shooting. When deputies arrived at the scene, they learned that the shoot- ing was between two different groups. They also discovered
that one person had been killed.

said, “Our detectives are cur- rently working to determine the events that led up to this deadly shooting.
“I am urging anyone with information to contact us im- mediately at (813) 247- 8200.”
No arrests has been made in reference to the shooting. The s investigation is active and ongoing.
Tampa Fire Rescue re- sponded to a structure fire at the 1400 block of Debeers Dr. in the Regency Square Apart- ments at 4 p.m Tuesday after- noon.
Fire investigators were on the scene and the cause of the fire was deemed accidental due to unattended cooking.
Tampa Fire Rescuee En- gine 13 was first on the scene and found a two-story multi- family dwelling with flames through the roof.

The American Red Cross has been contacted for five families in five affected apart- ments due to smoke and water damage.

Gladney’s agent, stated that “We are asking prayers for the family, and privacy at this most difficult time.”
Gladney’s former TCU teammate and fellow 2020 first-round draft pick, posted his condolences to Twitter saying: “Lost my brother, my best friend, my right-hand man ... ain’t too much more I can take man damn! R.I.P. Jeff Gladney, brother watch over me please.”

An 18-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a school-based threat to shoot up a school.
On Sunday, May 29, 2022, detectives received a tip, and through investigative means discovered that Corey Anderson posted images of himself with what appeared to be a handgun, a rifle, and a tactical style vest. The photo was distributed with the caption “Hey Siri, directions to the nearest school.”
After further investiga- tion, detectives determined the handgun and rifle were “airsoft guns.”

said, “This type of threat is unacceptable. This man in- tentionally instilled fear into our community as a sick joke, but be warned, this is no laughing matter.
“We will do everything

within our power to appre- hend, and pursue charges on those who make school- based threats. Protecting stu- dents is our greatest priority. We take school threats very seriously, if you see some- thing suspicious, please con- tact us immediately.”
Anderson was located and arrested at a residence in Lutz. He is charged with a written or electronic threat to conduct a mass shooting or act of terrorism.
