FBI Is Closing In On Those Folks Who Where Trying To Exhort Kevin Hart
Cardi B Is #1 On Billboard Chart
Cardi B has been #2 for a few weeks behind Taylor Swift, how- ever after her recent interview on the Breakfast Morning Club, the popular DJs said she would reach #1.
Cardi B becomes the first female rapper to top the Bill- board Hot 100 chart without the assistance of any other credited artists in nearly 19 years, as her debut hit “Bodak Yellow (Money Moves)” rises from No. 2 to No. 1 on the latest chart (dated Oct. 7).
“Bodak,” released on The KSR Group/Atlantic Records, makes Cardi B (born Bel- calis Almanzar, in the Bronx, New York) just the second fe- male rapper to top the Hot 100 without any other billed artists, following Lauryn Hill’s first solo Hot 100 entry (apart from the Fugees), “Doo Wop (That Thing),” for two weeks begin- ning with its Nov. 14, 1998, debut at No.

JAY ELLIS
What do you get when tele- vision’s Scrubs meets The Of- fice? HARD MEDICINE. Produced by Insecure star Jay Ellis and producing partner Paula Bryant-Ellis, Hard Medicine is a workplace com- edy created by Melissa Eno Effo.
The web series premiered on Jay Ellis’ Facebook page in August 2017 and can now be seen every week on the Urban Movie Channel (UMC).
The show centers around “Dr. Moore,” (Nicole Slaugh- ter) a quirky medical doctor of a low-income health clinic who must maneuver between de- manding corporate heads, out- landish patients, and her wacky but loyal staff, all in an effort to keep the community’s haven of health care afloat.

Authorities are reportedly confident they will catch those responsible for attempting to extort Kevin Hart after sev- eral warranted searches led to officers uncovering vital evi- dence.
The 38-year-old actor was allegedly asked to pay a seven- figure sum to avoid a sex tape being leaked, with the footage allegedly showing the come- dian in a compromising situa- tion with a woman other than his pregnant wife, Eniko Parrish.
However, rather than pay, Kevin approached the au- thorities, who initiated a full investigation into the extor- tion.
The next stage of the in- vestigation has seen a judge authorize several arch war- rants which, in turn, has led to officers seizing potential evi- dence including phone records, hard drives and other electronic equipment, accord- ing to reports.

vestigation” in regard to her husband’s alleged extortion scandal.
“She is standing by Kevin’s side,” the source says. “They are dealing with this together.”
The cheating allegations have taken a toll on Parrish, a second source told PEOPLE earlier this week.
“She has been hounded by the press, and is very upset,” the source said. “She is trying to stay healthy and enjoy her pregnancy, but the latest drama is too much.”
But, while the couple has stayed together, the source said Parrish feels “let down” by Hart.
Reality stars Lil Scrappy and Bambi are married. Ac- cording to the JasmineBrand, the Love & Hip Hop Atlanta cast members quietly eloped a few weeks ago.
According to the source it’s possible that something bigger is in the works and it will be filmed for the upcoming sea- son of Love & Hip Hop At- lanta.
The pair had broken up earlier this year calling off their engagement, but recently reconciled. Scrappy has a daughter from a previous rela-

Stars Of Movie ‘Marshall’ Support NFL Players Protest

Trump’s incendiary com- ments about former San Fran- cisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick, many NFL players chose to kneel or sit during the National Anthem on Sunday (September 24). The NFL’s suspected black- balling of Kaepernick due to his protest has also inspired many fans, including J. Cole, to boycott the league.
The Dreamville founder expounded on the boycott in a series of tweets.
“God bless every player that finds courage to kneel today,” Cole wrote. “But the real power comes from you de- ciding to not watch. Your eyes translate to advertising money for the League and it’s owners.

Sterling K. Brown and Chadwick Boseman have high praise for the pro football players who took a knee in protest of President Don- ald Trump.
The actors — both starring in the upcoming film “Mar- shall,” about Thurgood Marshall — commended players in the National Foot- ball League who sat, knelt or raised their fists in defiance during the national anthem on Sunday.
The players responded after Trump said anyone who knelt during “The Star-Span- gled Banner” should be fired, and used a profane term to de- scribe such a player.
Boseman, who plays Marshall, the first Black per-
son to ascend to the U.S. Supreme Court, called the players “patriots.”
America is always being born out of being revolution- ary,” said Boseman, whose roles have included Jackie Robinson in “42” and the Black Panther in the Marvel movies. “That’s what it’s born out of. It’s not born out of doing what people told you what you’re supposed to do.”
Brown, who recently won an Emmy Award for best actor in a drama for his role on “This Is Us,” said Trump has been divisive.
“I believe that this presi- dent has sort of brought a lot of ugliness to the surface ...,” said Brown, adding, “We can no longer remain silent.
In an interview with ET, Tamar Braxton explained that she was stepping away from the music industry in order to focus on her mar- riage.
“There are a lot of things that I want to do, and a lot of things that are in the works,” she told ET. “There’s a lot of things that are going on in my relationship and me being close to this music industry, and whatever I can do to elim- inate all of the stress and prob- lems off of my relationship, I would rather do that.”
“My husband [music exec- utive Vince Herbert] and I work very close together and it’s really hard, you know?” Tamar continued. “Not only do we work together, he is my baby daddy and, you know, we’ve been together forever. He’s my best friend. It’s a lot of things to discuss and argue about.”

She added that the title of her album is based on a folk tale of a bird who woke up longing for a different life and went on a journey all over the world before ultimately re- turning home to where true happiness was. Braxton said that she had gone on a similar journey.
“It’s OK to not know who you are!” she said. “It’s OK to go and figure it out, because I think, once you figure it out, you evolve. And that’s what life is all about, is evolving.
