Tampa Bay Buccaneers Restructure Mike Evans’ Contract
MIKE EVANS
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have restructured the contract of wide receiver Mike Evans in order to create $3.2 million in cap space, according to Tom Pelissero of NFL Net- work.
Evans is set to make $20 million this coming season.
Evans is coming off of a 2018 campaign in which he played all 16 games and hauled in 86 receptions for 1,524 yards and eight touch- downs.
The 25-year-old, who played his collegiate football at Texas A&M, was originally selected by the Buccaneers with the seventh overall pick of the 2014 NFL Draft.
It didn’t take long for Evans to stamp his name among the best receivers in football, as he burst on to the scene in his rookie year and caught 68 passes for 1,051 yards and 12 scores.
Evans was then even better in 2015, snaring 74 balls for 1,206 yards while reaching the end zone three times. He then proceeded to make his first Pro Bowl in 2016, registering 96 catches for 1,321 yards and 12 touchdowns.
Kawhi Leonard Ends Parade Speech With Famous Laugh
Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Jameis Win- ston began his Dream For- ever Week on Monday by treating 10 Birmingham area youth to a $100 shopping spree at Dick’s Sporting Goods in Hoover.
The former Hueytown High School and Florida State star established the Dream Forever Foundation in 2017, hoping to impact the lives of financially disadvan- taged youth through encour- agement, opportunities and resources to develop and achieve their dreams.
"I'm very excited to give back to the community and help some kids who are in need," Winston said. "I'm trying to teach them a little budget lesson in between be- cause everybody thinks bas- ketball goals are a hundred dollars and that's just not the case. I'm trying my best to navigate them in the right di- rection."
Winston also provided free pizza and spoke about the main goals of his founda- tion, stressing God, educa- tion and the importance of dreams.
"I have a little sit-down with them and talk about the influence God has had on my life and how important their faith is," Winston said. "The second message being school, so education and continuing to learn and grow mentally. The third thing is to dream forever."

Chris Paul Denies Making Trade Demand To Rockets
If Kawhi Leonard’s speech at the Toronto Rap- tors’ victory parade was his last act with the team, it will certainly go down as a memo- rable one.
Leonard broke out an ex- aggerated impression of his now-famous laugh in closing his speech in front of the as- sembled fans during the rally portion of Monday’s parade, which sent both the fans and his teammates into a frenzy.

Raptors big man Serge Ibaka shared videos on Twit- ter Tuesday of him asking questions to several of his teammates as part of his “how hungry are you?” series. Kawhi’s answers went viral.
Between this and the way he ended his speech at the team parade, Leonard is showing the world he is really a “fun guy” as he claimed.

Winston along with other NFL players will direct the camp.
Chris Paul has denied that he made a trade demand to the Houston Rockets, con- trary to what was reported on Tuesday.
The relationship between CP3 and James Harden is “unsalvageable” and that CP3 demanded a trade. Bleacher Report posted about the re- port on Instagram, and the Rockets point guard re- sponded in a comment saying “Damn! That’s news to me.”
Even if the report that Paul demanded a trade is in- accurate, there have been a series of reports over the past month saying that CP3 and Harden are clashing. One re- port even said the Rockets

have looked into trading
Paul.
If they are able to find a taker — which appears to be the biggest challenge given Paul’s age and contract sta- tus (3 years/$124 million left) — the Rockets would proba- bly give strong consideration to making a move.
