Traffic Accident Is Fatal For One, 6 Others Sent To Hospital
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, one man died and 6 others were transported to the hospital.
The accident occurred Wednesday morning, June 19, 2019, in the county at U. S. 301 and Pine Ave.
The driver of the 2002 Chevy Tahoe, Joshua B. Rosalez, 28, died in the
crash.
According to the report,
Rosalez was traveling along 301 in the center lane. He changed lanes and in doing so, lost control. The vehicle left the roadway, entered the grassy shoulder, over-cor- rected and traveled across all northbound lanes. At this point, Rosalez’ vehicle crossed the raised median and entered the southbound lanes. Three small children were in his vehicle.
The vehicle then struck a 2008 Toyota Tundra driven by Mark Herber, 51, of Bran- don. The impact caused that vehicle to rotate and overturn, while Rosalez’ vehicle contin- ued into the path of Warren Redd, 53, of Plant City, and his 19-year-old passenger, who were traveling in a 2016 Dodge Ram, nearly clashing head-on.
All the injured were trans- ported to Tampa General Hos- pital.
