FUNDRAISER FOR SAUNDERS LIBRARY FEATURES MALCOLM X’S DAUGHTER
The Greater Tampa Chapter of Jack and Jill of America, Inc. in partnership with the Robert W. Saunders Foundation hosted a gala at the new library recently featuring the daughter of Malcolm X as the speaker. Earlier in the day, Ilyasah Shabazz addressed an audience of 5th and 6th graders on the book she has written about her father, “Malcolm Little: The Boy Who Grew Up To Become Malcolm X.”
Later in the evening the gala was held at the library.
