 Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity Hosts ‘Blue Tie Affair’
The Tampa Alumni Chapter of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc., held its Annual Scholarship Banquet – Blue Tie Affair – on Sunday, August 14, 2022, at Pepin’s Hospitality Centre. Deborah Barnes and George Smith were Mistress and Master of Ceremonies.
Those in attendance enjoyed a sumptuous meal, fellowship, and the presentation of awards. Also on the program were: Luzon Dickerson, President, Gamma Eta Sigma Tampa Alumni Chapter, Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc.; Donovan Reed, and Dwayne Peterkin. (Photographs by Frederick Harris)
    Adrian White received the Leonard Jordan/Sigma Man of the Year Award. He is flanked by Donovan Reed, Kathy Jordan and President Luzon Dicker- son.
Dr. Brenda Walker of the University of South Florida received the ‘Educa- tion Award.’ Dr. Maurice Horne and President Luzon Dickerson are with her.

Among the guests were Cynthia M. Brady, Conya Dennis and Jalen Dennis.
The ‘Bigger and Better Business’ award was presented to Jeffrey Rhodes, LFD, by Adrian White and Luzon Dickerson.
