5,000 Bikers Attend 3rd United Bikers Weekend
More than 5,000 bikers were in town for several days during the Memorial Day weekend.
The group is credited with spending over $20 million with hotels and airbnb rentals. Overnight campers were at the Valrico County Fairgrounds. The weekend included Beach Weekend at Whiskey Joe’s private beach party with over 2,000 in atten- dance, visits to Courtney Campbell Causeway, con- certs with Rick Ross, Mystikal, comedian Melasan, and singer Jeter Jones.
Tampa Bay United Bikers promoter, Curtis Hill, and Marcell Tillman of the Atlanta area, say there have already been inquiries about 2023 ticket sales.
The sponsors gave special thanks to Mayor Jane Castor, Florida Sentinel Bulletin, Comm. Gwen Myers, Visit Tampa Bay, Sheriff’s Dept., Sheriff Chad Chronister, Bishop Michelle Patty, WTMP, TPD Chief Mary O’Conner, and es- pecially to the bikers because no major negative is- sues occurred.
