The Florida Lottery Is Funding Futures
Helping Schools And Students Win
Since the Florida Lot- tery’s establishment in 1988, we have remained commit- ted to enhancing public edu- cation in Florida.
Over the past 34 years, the Florida Lottery has pro- vided life-changing opportu- nities to both our players and students statewide.
Their steadfast commit- ment to education has al- lowed them to contribute more than $42 billion to K- 12 schools, state colleges and universities and to students
through the Bright Futures Scholarship Program.
Created in 1997 by the Florida Legislature, the Bright Futures Scholarship Program assists students in pursuing postsecondary ed- ucational career goals. Since the program’s inception, the Florida Lottery has con- tributed more than $7.4 bil- lion to send nearly 917,000 students to college.
The Florida Lottery is proud to be a dedicated and dependable funding source for public education, con- tributing more than $1 bil- lion annually for the past 20
consecutive years, while re- maining one of the most effi- cient lotteries in the country. From community learning to graduate studies, they’re helping Florida’s students turn their dreams into fu- tures.
We thank you for helping us reach these incredible milestones, as a portion of every ticket purchased goes towards education. We hope that the benefits of our con- tributions continue to be felt in communities across the entire state. flalottery.com/brightfu- tures.
