MR. ALBERT EUGENE CUTLER, JR.
Mr. Albert Eugene Cutler, Jr. passed away Thursday, August 4, 2022. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, August 18, 2022, 2 p. m. at Ray Williams Memorial Chapel, 301 N. Howard Avenue, Tampa, FL 33606, with Pastor Prentiss Davis, Officiating. Inter- ment will follow in Garden of Memories Cemetery. MASK REC- OMMENDED.
Our dearly beloved brother, Albert Eugene Cutler, Jr., was an only son, born on November 11, 1957, to Dr. Albert Eugene Cutler, Sr. and his wife, Sarah Francis Cutler (both deceased). Albert, better known by family as, Al, Jr., was raised in Tampa, Florida where he graduated from Hills- borough High School, briefly at- tended Hillsborough Community College, and gained work experi- ence as a Longshoreman. He de- veloped a passion for art, becoming highly skilled in draw- ing and painting, which continued even after recently and gradually becoming visually impaired. He also loved the outdoors, spending most of his adult life canvassing the streets and communities of the Tampa Bay area where he was well known. Albert’s ability to re- call details of events from the dis- tant past was extraordinary; citing exact dates and times that was depicted in many of his draw- ings. He had fond memories of the good times in his life spent with family and friends, going to church, visiting relatives, family beach outings, playing sports, and being a brother to his four sisters; for his mind was not bogged down with the day-to-day ins and outs or the cares and trials of this world as most of us are. He had a special carefree, loving and kind spirit. In his more recent years, Albert enjoyed bus trips to Or- lando to visit relatives and a few train rides, traveling to visit his sister in Maryland and his cousin Clarence (Sweetpea) in Ohio who, after the visit, treated him to a road trip back to Tampa. Two years ago, Al, Jr. traveled to Val- dosta, Georgia where he settled until his illness and untimely rest.
Al, Jr. leaves to cherish his memory: his two sons, Allen Eu- gene Cobb, and Rashad Eugene Cutler of Tampa, FL; sisters, Shirley D. Cutler-Danzey (Michael) of Land O’ Lakes, FL, Celeste E. Cornileus (David) of Ocoee, FL, Carron M. Cutler of Co- lumbia, MD, and Debra Cutler- Lurie of Tampa, FL; and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, nephews, and nieces.
