MRS. MIRIAM BROWN
A Homegoing Celebration for Miriam Brown of Tampa, Florida, who passed away on Monday, April 22, 2019, will be held on Friday, May 3rd, 11 a. m. at St. Stephens Catholic Church, 10118 St. Stephens Circle, Riverview, Florida, Father Der- mot, officiating.
Miriam Loretta Johnson Brown was born September 27, 1958 in Tampa, Florida. She loved to travel, dance and making people smile. She always saw the best in people and whenever you mention her name a smile came across your face. She loved her family very much and was our rock!
She leaves to cherish her pre- cious memories with: her chil- dren, Dionne Brown, Justin Brown and Nicolle Rangel; par- ents, Joe and Essie Lee Dooley; brothers, Curtis Dooley, Robert Dooley and Renard Dooley; aunts, Betty Jean Johnson, Mar- jorie Judge, Shirley Judge-Blount and Joyce Judge; uncles, An- thony Jones; oldest best-friend, Ohilda Farramoia; best-friend, Ivonne Del Valle; a host of other relatives and friends that will truly miss her.
The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Thurs- day,May2nd from5to7p.m.The family will receive friends from 5 to 6 p. m. The family and friends are asked to meet at the church on Friday for the service.

MR. EDWARD LEWIS GRADDY, SR.
A Homegoing Celebration for Mr. Edward Lewis Graddy, Sr. of Tampa, Florida, who passed away on Sunday, April 28, 2019, will be held on Saturday, May 4, 2019, 2 p. m. at Spring Hill M. B. Church, 8119 E. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd., Rev. Eugene Garnett, pastor officiating. The interment will be in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.
“Deac,” as he was affection- ately called, was born Edward Lewis Graddy, Sr. on March 2, 1939, in Cuthbert, Georgia, to the late Felton and Carrie (Betty) Graddy. Deacon Graddy was a long time resident of Tampa, for over 63 years and a faithful member of Springhill M. B. Church for over 50 years, where he faithfully and dili- gently served in numerous capaci- ties until his health failed. He, along with his wife, “Pat,” were or- dained as Deacon and Deaconess, under the leadership of Rev. Michael V. White and remained in holy matrimony until death did them part.
“Deac” was well known in the state of Florida and will always be remembered as the lead singer of the quartet group, The Heavenly Trumpets. “Somewhere To Lay My
Head” was his signature song and an all-time favorite of everyone who knew him. His spiritually- touching voice, his comical sense of humor, smile and caring heart is what he will be remembered and deeply missed most for. His wis- dom and knowledge has left an im- print on many lives.
On Sunday, April 28, 2019, Deac answered the call of his heav- enly father and took his rest.
He was preceded in death by: his wife, Sarah P. Graddy; his par- ents, Felton and Carrie Graddy; daughter, Sonya McFarland, great- grandchildren, Jonanthony Rorie and Mama Mia Imani Brewer, sis- ter, Thelma Hill and a few more close relatives.
Deac leaves behind to cherish fond memories: his 5 children, sons, Benjamin “Freddy” Graddy (Janet), Edward Graddy, Jr.; daughters, Johnisha Graddy, Minne Graddy and Carrisha Graddy; sisters, Sharon Peterson (Rodney), Ruby Walker and Hazel Davis (William); brothers, Alfonso Lee, Clifford Lee, and Willie Graddy (Sandra); aunts, Queen Burnett, Louise Major, and Mary Bussey; 1 grandchild, he raised as his child and resided with him until death, Porschea Brewer; 13 additional grandchildren whom he loved, a host of great-grandchil- dren, several nieces, nephews, cousins and god-children; special nieces, Cynthia Berry and Tawanda Hill; special grandson, John Brewer, Sr.; special friends, Rev. Alphonso Lewis (Angela), the Sulphur Springs Community, the Members of the Heavenly Trum- pets and the Quartet Community.
The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral home on Friday, May 3rd, from 5:00 to 7:00 p. m.
The family will receive friends from6to7p.m.Thefamilyand friends are asked to meet at the church on Saturday for the service.

A Homegoing Celebration for Brother S. Vidal Mills, who transi- tioned to be with the Lord on April 28, 2019, will be held on Saturday, May 4, 2019, 11 a. m., at St. Matthew M. B. Church, 3708 E. Lake Ave., Tampa, Rev. W. D. Sims, pastor/of- ficiating. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Ceme- tery.
Brother Mills was born in Tampa, FL to Deacon Ernest and Sister Lucy Mills on July 21, 1972. He confessed Jesus as his Lord and Savior at an early age and became a member of St. Matthew M. B. Church, under the leadership of Reverend James Howell.
He was preceded in death by: his son, Cedric (C. J.) Mills; his ma- ternal grandparents, Mr. Hosey Lee and Mrs. Lois G. Davis; paternal grandparents, Eddie and Mrs. Celia Mills, and other family members.
He leaves to cherish fond mem- ories of him: a devoted and loving wife of 16 years, Florrielynn Mills; children, D’Andra Johnson, Darri- anna Johnson, and Chenique Mills, all of Tampa, and PFC Malik (Haley) Mills, Ft.
