RAY WILLIAMS
MS. MARGARET WILLIAMS
Ms. Margaret Williams of Tampa passed away Wednesday, April 24, 2019. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, May 4, at 11 a. m. at First Baptist Church of West Tampa, 1302 N. Willow Avenue, with Reverend Dr. Rayford Harper, Pastor, offi- ciating. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.
Margaret was a native of Val- dosta, Georgia. She attended the public schools of Valdosta, GA, Clewiston and Tampa, FL. She at- tended Middleton High and played on the girls’ basketball team. She later graduated and received a high school diploma from Howard W. Blake Adult Night School. Margaret retired in 1992 from the School District of Hillsborough County, Carver Ele- mentary School as a Lunchroom Manager.
She was preceded in death by: her son, Raymond Williams; and her only sibling, Mary Chester.
She leaves to cherish her memory: a loving and devoted daughter, Hattie “Peaches” Bow- ers of Wesley Chapel and a loving and devoted friend, Larry Hamil- ton, Plant City, FL; 4 grandchil- dren, Rene C. Allen, Jr. (Shantwan “Buffy”), Tampa, Alex Mercer Tampa, Raymond Williams, Jr. (Deticeer), Tampa, and Jimika Williams, Sarasota, FL; great grandchildren, Eric and Vanessa Allen, Tampa, Delvon Mayes, Au Zuria Blanc, Ju Huan Mayes and Jayceon Mayes, Sarasota, FL, Tyrone Howard, Wyannah Colbert, Willy Colbert, Aviana Plair, Kavonte’ Gardner, and Alana Little of Tampa; 7 nieces, Hazel Hampton, Atlanta, GA, Jernice Martin, Brooksville, FL, Jackie Lewis (James} Craw- fordville, GA, Evelyn Henderson, Brooksville, Margaret Ross, Tampa, Harriet Watkins, Ruskin, FL, and Alice Holden, Locust Grove, GA; 2 nephews, Leon Chester (Yun), Miami, FL and Eric Chester, Brandon, FL; 3 god- daughters, Annie Scott, Onalia and Jeannie Hill, Tampa; a loving and devoted friend, Bettye Dixon; and she leaves a host of other sor- rowing family and friends.

MR. WILLIE COLEMAN, JR.
Funeral service for Mr. Willie Coleman, Jr., who passed on April 24, 2019 will be held on Saturday, May 4, 2019, at 12 noon at Wilson Funeral Home, 3000 N. 29th Street, Tampa, Florida, with Elder Walter Lee Thomas, officiating. Military honors will be conducted by the United States Army Honor Guards.
Mr. Willie Coleman, Jr. was born on February 24, 1942, in Dothan, Alabama, to the parent- age of Willie Coleman, Sr. and Laura Peoples Coleman Taylor. He was educated in the public schools of Hillsborough County and was a graduate of Howard W. Blake High School. Mr. Coleman enlisted in the Army in 1969 and completed two tours of duty prior to receiving an Honorable Dis- charge.
He was preceded in death by: his father, Willie Coleman, Sr.; mother, Laura Peoples Coleman- Taylor; daughter, Cheryl Cole- man; sister, Mary Elizabeth Coleman; brother, Willis James Coleman; and nephew, Greg Cole- man.
Mr. Coleman leaves to cherish memories of him with: wife, Bur- nell McQueen-Coleman; children, Willie Coleman, III (Chip), Wilena Coleman, Carlos Coleman and Brandi Coleman; a host of grand- children; brothers, Calvin Cole- man and Rickey Coleman; sisters, Nelsie Obanner and husband, Jesse, Catherine Jones and hus- band, Luscious, Lucy Wilson and husband, Leon and Mattie Mims; aunts and uncles, Walker Peoples, Hazel Hickman, Robert Peoples, Willie Lee Peoples and Alice Pue; a host of nieces and nephews; close friends, Rickey Chambers, Charlie Aikens, Frederick John- son and a host of other relatives and friends.

Mrs. Lena Jenkins is survived by: her devoted and loving son, Rev. Jimmie B. Keel, Sr. and wife, Dorothy Evelyn H. Keel; grandchil- dren, Denise Scott (Kacey Scott) from Jacksonville, FL, Perry Keel (Latrisha Keel) from Daytona, Florida; and Sean Keel (Shamika Keel) from Tampa; great- grand- children, Kacey Scott, Jr., Kieron Scott, Kerrington Scott, Timothy Keel and Naomi Keel; brothers, Lewis Peace from Chicago, IL, Pedro Peace, Sr. (Martha Peace) from Tampa; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends, including Ms. Anita Jordan and the staff at Ruby’s Resi- dential Care (ALF).
Mrs. Lena Jenkins was born on January 17, 1920 in Marianna, Florida, to the parentage of Lewis and Rebecca Peace. Mrs. Jenkins moved to Tampa, Florida in 1965. She was great housewife (nana, maid, etc.). Mrs. Jenkins cared for the neighborhood children and she was an excellent baker, especially her sweet potato pies. Mrs. Jenkins was a member of Greater Mt. Mo- riah Primitive Baptist Church and a former member of the Senior Choir prior to her failing health.
There will be a viewing on Fri- day May 3, 2019, at Wilson Funeral Home, 3000 N. 29th Street, Tampa, from5–8p.m.;thefamilywillbe present to receive friends from 6 – 7p.m.

MS. THELMA JEAN McGRUDER
A Celebration of Life Service for Ms. Thelma Jean McGruder, who passed on April 29, 2019, will be held on Sunday, May 5, 2019 at 3 p. m. at Bible-Based Fellowship Church of Temple Terrace, 8718 N. 46th Street, Tampa, Florida, Rev. Dr. Earl B. Mason, Sr., Pastor, of- ficiating, with Pastor Willie Mc- Clendon of Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church, Largo, Florida, eu- logist. Interment will follow in Laurel Hill Prairie Cemetery, 2455 Arnaz Drive, Mulberry, Florida 33860.
Ms. Thelma Jean McGruder was preceded in death by: her mother, Lenora Boone; father, George Miller, Sr.; and sister, Mar- jorie Pace.
She leaves behind: daughters, Cynthia D. Harris and Marie A. McGruder; son, Marvin L. Mc- Gruder, Jr., and daughter-in-law, Esther McGruder; daughter, Rhonda E. Gilbo and son-in-law, Darryl “Beau” Gilbo; grandchil- dren, Cylita Harris, Nicole Harris, Ve’Rhonda Harris, Taylor Mc- Gruder, Jordyn Williams, Jaz Gilbo, Jade Gilbo, James Badger and Joshua Badger; 12 great- grandchildren; brothers, George Miller, Jr., (Johnny), James Miller (Helen), Melvin Miller (Gloria); uncle, Joe McHenry (Dorothy); and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends, including special friend, James Mix.
Ms. Thelma Jean McGruder was born on February 8, 1940 to the parentage of George Miller, Sr. and Lenora Boone in Mulberry (Old Prairie), Florida. As a child she accepted Christ as her Lord and personal
Savior. She was a member of Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church in Fullers Heights, Florida. Ms. McGruder was an Alumni of Union Academy, Class of 1958 in Bartow, Florida.
Thelma Jean married Marvin L. McGruder in 1961. From this union there were four children. After accompanying her husband during his military career, they traveled across the United States and settled at MacDill Air Force Base in Tampa, Florida.
Thelma worked as a Phle- botomy Nurse at Tampa General Hospital for thirty years. She held the positions of Phlebotomy Trainer, Supervisor and Manager. Thelma was known for her fervent service to all whom she came in contact with. Her gift was caring for others and she had a heart of ushering others to Jesus Christ.

Mr. Jessie Stephens, Jr. was born in Miami, Florida, on October 12, 1962, to the parentage of Jessie Stephens, Sr. and Maude Stephens. He was a resident of Tampa for over 50 years and was a member of New Birth Missionary Baptist Church.
