MR. WILLIE ALEXANDER
A homegoing celebration, in loving memory of Mr. Willie Alexander will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, November 12, 2016, at Gudes Funeral Home, 4050 E. Hillsborough Avenue, Tampa, FL 33610.

MRS. PEARL A. WALSH
A Celebration of Life for Mrs. Pearl Agatha Walsh, who passed away quietly on Wednesday, No- vember 2, 2016. A service will be held at the Calvary Tabernacle UPC, 10930 N. Hwy. 301 Thono- tosassa, Rev. James A. Wolfe, Pastor, on Saturday, November 12, 2016, at 11 a. m. with Pastor Romenthia Fitts, officiating. In- terment will follow at Orange Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. Pearl Agatha Chai, the eldest child of Vincent Chai and Linda Rattray, was born Janu- ary 8, 1925, in Spaulding, Clarendon, Jamaica, West In- dies. Later, sisters Hazel and Clover joined Pearl and her par- ents. Her parents owned a gro- cery store in Spaulding, and Pearl and her siblings spent their early years enjoying the Clarendon countryside until their parents decided to move their business to the capital, Kingston.
Vincent and Linda relocated to Kingston in the 1930s and pur- chased another grocery store on North Street across from the Madden Funeral Home and Pearl quickly became friends with the Madden children. Pearl attended Saint Joseph’s Girls’ School on Duke Street, a short walking distance from her North Street home. Later Pearl graduated from Shields Secre- tarial School, where she mas- tered shorthand. Pearl never forgot her early years in Spauld- ing and her mother, Linda would often take her to Spauld- ing to spend time with her aunts and grandfather, Joe Rattray.
Pearl met her future husband, Desmond Rudolf Walsh in 1946 after he returned from serving in World War II as a member of the British Royal Air Force. Pearl and Desmond were mar- ried July 14, 1956, and remained married for 60 years until Desmond’s recent death. To their union eight children were born.
Left to mourn her passing are: her children, Dennis Walsh, Paul Walsh, Julian Walsh, Ros- alee Angela Walsh, Curtis Walsh, Maxine Walsh, Char- maine Walsh, Sandra Walsh; grand children; and great- grandchildren; a long time neighbor and friend, Louise Sal- vage; and other sorrowing rela- tives and friends.
Visitation will be held Friday, Nov. 11, 2016, between 5 – 8 p. m. at the Integrity Funeral Serv- ices, 3822 E. 7th Avenue, Tampa. Family and friends are re- quested to assemble Saturday at 10:45 a. m.

MS. BARBARA DENISE PRIESTER
Ms. Barbara Denise Priester passed away on November 4, 2016, after a lengthy illness. She was born on December 24, 1968, in Tampa, Florida to the late Betty Jewel Scott and Bobby Priester.
She was preceded in death by: her mother, Betty Jewel Scott.
Home going services will be held Saturday, November 12, 2016, 11 a. m., at Harmon Fu- neral Home, 5002 N. 40th Street, Tampa, 33610, with Rev- erend Larry L. Roundtree, II, officiating. Interment will be placed in Rest Haven Memorial Cemetery.
Ms. Barbara Denise Priester was educated in Hillsborough County Public Schools and graduated from Tampa Bay Technical High School. Before her illness, she worked as a cos- metologist and a bus driver for Pasco County Public Schools.
She is survived by: father, Bobby Priester (Mary); one daughter and one son, Lenise Priester and Christopher Priester; five sisters, Laverne Mills, Towando Reid Smith (Tony), Maria McNabb (Don- ald), Danyelle Perry (Dedric), and Tara Boyer Hosein; five brothers, Gerald Eckerd, Corrie Priester, Kevin Priester, Bobby D. Priester, and Myron Priester; two grandchildren, Kevon and Jaden; three aunts, Margaret Autry (Isiah), Bernice Tim (Willie), Mary Ellen Ross (Otis) of Sodus, NY; three nieces, ten nephews; special cousin, Dana Reid, other cousins and friends.
Visitation for Ms. Barbara Denise Priester will be held this Friday evening from 6 p. m. until 8 p. m. at Harmon Funeral Home, 5002 N. 40th Street, Tampa, 33610. The proces- sional will assemble at 10:45 a. m. at Harmon Funeral Home on Saturday.

MRS. RUTH MAE STEWART (THOMAS)
Mrs. Ruth Mae Stewart (Thomas) died peacefully in St. Joseph’s Hospital on October 30, 2016, in Tampa, at the age of 92. Home going services will be held this Saturday, November 12, 2016, at Greater Mount Moriah Primitive Baptist Church, 1225 N. Nebraska Avenue, Tampa, 33602, with Pastor Dr. B. R. Ful- ton, Jr. officiating. Interment will be made on Monday, Novem- ber 14, 2016 at 11 a. m. in Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida.
Ruth is survived by: her rela- tives, James “Sonny” Stewart, III, Dr. E. Barnett, Kobie Stewart, Ryan and Chad Barnett; adopted nephew, Kenneth Thomas; best friend, Florence James, and host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends, of Tampa, St. Peters- burg, Clearwater, Gainesville, and California.
She was preceded in death by: Mabel Tisby, 6 siblings, husband, James Stewart, Jr., and 3 chil- dren, of Florida.
Ruth was born on August 2, 1924 in Gainesville, FL to Mabel Tisby. She graduated from Cos- metology School after high school. She married James Stew- art, Jr., who was an honored World War II veteran. After mov- ing to Tampa, Ruth began work- ing as a beautician. Later she worked at Dale Mabry Elemen- tary in the cafeteria preparing meals for students, teachers and staff.
Visitation for Mrs. Ruth Mae Stewart (Thomas) will be held this Friday evening from 6 p. m. until 8 p. m. at Friendly Mission- ary Baptist Church, 2012 North Tampania Street Tampa, 33607. The Processional on Saturday will assemble at 10:45 a. m..

MR. MICHEAL ANTWAN TURNER, JR.
Our beloved Micheal Antwan Turner, Jr. (also known as MJ) was born November 26, 1994 in Tampa, Florida to Catissa Chap- man and Micheal Turner, Sr. He was educated in the public schools within the States of Florida and Alabama. He was a very dedicated and fun-loving young gentleman who loved everyone. He loved to make and to see others smile and be happy.
Home going services will be held Saturday, November 12, 2016 at 1 p. m., at True Life Com- munity Worship Center, 7402 N. 56th Street, Building 600, Tampa, 33617, with Pastor Riccardo Smith, officiating. Interment will be made in Rest Haven Memorial Park.
He was preceded in death by: his beloved maternal grandfa- ther, William Tyrone Chapman, Sr.; and his beloved paternal great- grandmother, Lydia Williams.
