Buccaneers Would Trade Doug
Lady Bulls Basketball Team Host NCAA Tournament
Martin For Adrian Peterson
It appears the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are kind of done with Doug Martin. The Bucs would be interested in moving Martin in a straight swap for future Hall Of Famer Adrian Peterson, provided Peterson would be willing to take a pay cut. Peterson was in Tampa last week trying out.
Martin looked like a true feature way back in 2012, when he racked up nearly 2,000 yards from scrimmage, but fell off the map since then. Averaging just 3.7 yards per carry since then, the Muscle

On Saturday, the University of South Florida’s Women’s Basketball team will participate in the opening round of the women’s NCAA Basketball Tournament. The Lady Bulls is the sixth seed in the tournament, the highest the team has ever been ranked.
Additionally, with a season record of 27-6, and second in the American Athletic Confer- ence, the Lady Bulls have the best season in the school’s history and have been chosen to host the games this year.
If the Lady Bulls pull off a win on Saturday, they are on their way to participate in the NCAA Women’s Final Four in April.

Ravens Release Bernard Pierce After Arrest
The Baltimore Ravens cut Bernard Pierce only hours after the reserve running back was arrested and charged with driving under the influ- ence of alcohol early Wednes- day morning.
Pierce was the third Ravens player to be arrested this offseason, and the Ravens have now cut all three within a day of learning of their off-field incidents.
He is charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol, driving while im- paired by alcohol, exceeding maximum speed (55 mph in a posted 30 mph zone) and driving a vehicle in excess of

Top Shoe Salesman With
$340 Million For Nike
LeBron James traded South Beach for C-Town last summer when he signed a free agent deal with the Cleveland Cavaliers after four seasons and two NBA titles with the Miami Heat. Skep- tics wondered if the move to the smaller, less glamorous market would ding James’ endorsement standing and shoe sales. Fat chance.
James remains the biggest endorsement star in the sport with estimated earnings of $44 million this year off the court, and he is still the king when it comes to moving product. Nike sold $340 million worth of James’ signature shoes in the last 12-months through January, up 13% from the prior year, according toSportScanInfo. It is nearly double the amount of the NBA’s second best seller, Kevin Durant.
The NBA seemingly re- volves around LeBron in re- cent years and it is no different with selling shoes.

Nike signed James out of high school in 2003 to a seven-year, $90 million deal. The deal was slow to pay off for Nike, but sales took off starting with the LeBron VI. Nike released its twelfth James’ signature shoe in Oc- tober, fittingly the LeBron 12, at a retail price of $200. There are more iterations of James’ shoe than any other player and his shoes are widely distributed, which helps boost sales. His sneak- ers are also huge sellers with kids. James earns an esti- mated $20 million a year from the $30 billion-in-sales Beaverton, Ore.-sports giant.

Money revealed that he is using Chef Q ahead of his showdown with Pacquiao. How much does that run him? Mayweather says that Chef Q's food is worth $1,000 a plate.
Of course, Mayweather has made plenty of money in his career and has a rather large payday ahead of him.
