MR. CURTIS C. JACKSON, JR. a.k.a., ‘BUGGY’
The funeral service for Mr. Curtis C. Jackson, Jr., a.k.a., “Buggy,” will be held Satur- day, January 30, 2016, at Memorial Park Funeral Home, 5750 49th St. North, St. Petersburg, FL, 33709.
He is preceded in death by: his mother, Dovie Lee Jackson; father, Curtis C. Jackson, Sr.; and a sister, Cheryl Jackson.
He leaves to cherish mem- ories of him and lament his passing: a devoted wife, Willie Mae Jackson of Clear- water; 3 brothers, Douglas Williams and longtime part- ner, Linda Hicks, Bobby Jackson, and Curtis M. Jack- son, all of Tampa; 6 sisters, Willie Dean Bush, Evelyn Jackson White, and hus- band, David White, Brenda Jackson, Sandra Jackson and longtime partner, Lamar Taylor, Jackie Jackson and Betty Jackson, all of Tampa; 5 children, Natay Jackson, Tanika Jackson, Tasha Jack- son, Joyce Jackson and Cur- tis Jackson, III, of Tampa; 18 grandchildren; 2 special cousins, Isaac Jackson and Kenneth Jackson of Tampa; 5 special nieces, Meshelle Wilson, Cassandra Jackson, Terri Jackson, Lakeisha Bush and Lateisha Bush, all of Tampa; step mom, Alfreda Jackson Pirant of Tampa; 4 special friends, Danny Vick- ers, Lamar Taylor, Rick Burnes and Bernadette Brown, and Table of Fire Prison Ministry, all of Tampa; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws and other relatives and de- voted friends.
The viewing of the body is from11a.m.–2p.m.,thefu- neral begins at 2 p. m.

MR. ROGERS HUMPHREY
Mr. Rogers Humphrey, 74, of Brandon, FL, loving husband, father and grand- father, met his first sunrise on July 25, 1941 and was greeted with a lasting sunset on Wednesday, January 20th, 2016.
His celebration of life will be held Saturday, January 30that11a.m.atSt.JamesA. M. E. Church, 5202 S. 86th Street, Progress Village, Tampa. His burial services will take place on Tuesday, February 2nd at 11 a. m. at the Springhill Cemetery in Crestview, FL.
Rogers was a native of Anderson, South Carolina and a resident of Tampa for 30 years.
He served in the United States Air Force, where he was honorably discharged after 24 years and 6 months as an Inventory Manage- ment Supervisor.
Rogers was a servant, a leader, the kind of man who would sacrifice of himself for the well-being of others.
He leaves behind: wife, Joyce Humphrey; children, Lisa, La’Freda, Avia (Wendell, Sr.), and Spencer (Allison); grandchildren, Wendell, II, Sequoia, Ja’Shaun (Jacqueline), Janae, Riley, Ruby, Lena and Zora; his great grandchild, Abigail; his siblings, Larry, Bryant and Angelia; and many extended family members.
Rogers also leaves to cherish his memory: six aunts, an uncle, a host of nephews and nieces, and other relatives and friends.
The remains will repose and the family will receive friends from 6-8 p. m., Friday, January 29, 2016, at St. James A. M. E. Church.

MR. ERIC EDWARD KNIGHT
Mr. Eric Edward Knight, 51, passed away after a courageous battle with can- cer on Sunday, January 17, 2016 at Ocala Regional Med- ical Center.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, Janu- ary30,at2p.m.atTampa First Seventh Day Adventist Church, 822 W. Linebaugh Avenue, with Elder Lee Bo- stick, officiating. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Me- morial Park Cemetery.
Eric attended the public schools of Hillsborough County and was a graduate of Leto High School.
He was a hard-working man who made a career in the construction and roofing profession.
Eric loved the Lord and ac- cepted Jesus as a young man. He was a former member of St. John Progressive M. B. Church, ACOJ New Season Ministry, and attended Meadowbrook Church, until his illness prevented atten- dance.
He was preceded in death by: his grandparents, Ruben E. Williams, Matrie Mitchell- Williams, Wilhelmenia Ealy, and Jacob Knight Sr.; great grandparents; sister, Frances Simmons; and grandson, Jamel.

Mr. Olds was a native of Campbellton, FL, and a resi- dent of Tampa for 68 years. He attended Booker T. Wash- ington High School. He was employed as an Upholsterer at Southern Cross Manufac- turing Company.
He leaves to cherish his memory: his daughter, Gail Olds; ex-wife, Hattie M. DEACON WALTER JAMES PUGH
Homegoing celebration for Deacon Walter James Pugh will be held Saturday, January 30, 2016, at 11 a. m. at St. John Cathedral, 3401 E. 25th Ave., where Rev. Dwight Newkirk is the pastor, and Pastor Antonio Pringley, eu- logist. Interment will follow at Orange Hill Cemetery.
Deacon Pugh was born August 25, 1950, in Spring Hill, Alabama, to the late Willie and Emma Pugh.
As a young man, he relo- cated to Tampa and re- mained until his passing.
He accepted Christ as his Lord and Personal Savior. He was a faithful member of Fruit of the Spirit, where An- tonio Pringley is the Pastor.
Deacon Pugh was em- ployed at Cargill Chemical Plant, retiring after 33 years of service.
To his family and through- out his community, he was known as, “Bay,” “Honey,” and “Big Man.”
He will truly be missed by all who knew and loved him. He is survived by: a loving
and devoted wife, Shirley Blocker Pugh; faithful daughter, Keshia Lashawn Pugh; caring son, Ronnie Antonio Owens; 6 loving grandchildren and a sweet great grandchild; under- standing brother, Samuel Pugh (Susie); caring sisters, Martha Battle (Johnnie), Lois Pugh Turner and Ozell Kedrick (Authur); loving mother-in-law, Dorothy Blocker Bell; kind brothers- in-law, Anthony D. Blocker, Steven Blocker, Perry Reed (Marketa), Theodis Holloway, Jr. and Clifton Mathews (Betty); sweet sisters-in-law, Phyllis Math- ews, Delphine Nesmith (Freddie), Lillian Thompson (Ben), Annette D.
