MR. THOMAS J. RUSSELL, SR.
Homegoing services surveying the span of life for Mr. Thomas James Russell, Sr., who passed away on January 19, 2016, will be held Saturday, January 30, 2016, at 11 a. m. at New Progress M. B. Church, 3307 East Shadowlawn Ave., Tampa, 33610, Rev. C. R. Batchelor and Elder Vernon Young associate pastors in charge of services, Elder Clyde D. Thompson, Pastor of Greater Bethany M. B. and Rev. Patrick Lavender, associate pastor, officiating. Interment will be made with Military Honors on Monday, February 1, 2016, in Florida National Cemetery.
Mr. Russell was preceded in death by: his parents; brothers, Joe and John L. Russell; sisters, Ines Duchine, Mayola Walker and Francine Russell; and grand- mother, Pearl Larry.
Those left behind to cherish his loving memories are: his fiancée, Leola Siplin; children, TeRodney Russell, Sr. (Velencia), Tonya Laven- der (Rev. Patrick Lavender),
MR. JOHNNY L. BROWN
Homegoing services for Mr. Johnny L. Brown, who departed this life on January 22, 2016, will be held Satur- day, January 30, 2016 at 1 p. m. at Harmon Funeral Home, 5002 N. 40th Street, Tampa, 33610, with Rev. Ronald Fortune, officiating. Interment will be made with Military Honors on Monday February 1, 2016 in Florida National Cemetery, Bush- nell, FL.
Mr. Johnny L. Brown was born on August 24, 1952.
He attended schools in Manatee, Hillsborough, and Seminole Counties.
After graduation, he en- listed in the U. S. Army, where he received an honor- able discharge.
He mentored many young men from the East Tampa, and Jackson Heights areas. He was well-loved and known by those who he en- countered, as well as teach- ing all those that were in his path.
He was preceded in death by: his father, Carlee Brown, Sr.; and sister, Charlene Adderley.
Those left behind to cher- ish his loving memories are: mother, Alice Givens; broth- ers and sisters, Carlee Brown, Jr., Eunice Dingle, Kathy Henry, Dennis Adder- ley, Renwick Adderley, Geraldine Simmons, Julie Ann McClean, Gladston Adderley and Vendal Adder- ley; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and great nieces nephews from Tampa and across the United States.
Visitation for Mr. Johnny Lee Brown will be held Fri- day evening from 5-8 p. m. The family will receive friends at Harmon Funeral Home during the family hour from 7-8 p. m.
The processional will arrange at the chapel on Sat- urday at 12:45 p. m.
