Man Shot Trying To Flee Armed Robber
Daughter Charged In Carrollwood Double Murder

Hillsborough County Sher- iff’s Office detectives identified Nicole Nachtman as the sus- pect in Thursday night’s double murder in Carrollwood. Nacht- man is currently being held in Tallahassee, Florida on two charges of first-degree murder.
On August 20th at 9:26 p.m., deputies responded to a call of several shots being fired at 14108 Fennsbury Drive in Car- rollwood. When they arrived, deputies found Myriam V. Carey Diens, 56, suffering from gunshot wounds in the driveway of the home. Detec- tives later found Robert J. Di- enes, 67, also suffering from gunshot wounds inside the resi- dence.
Detectives immediately processed the scene, inter- viewed witnesses and followed leads. During the course of the investigation, Nicole Nacht- man, 21, was identified as a possible suspect.
On August 21st, Nachtman was located in Tallahassee for questioning. As a result of the investigation, necessary infor- mation was obtained to charge her with two counts of first-de- gree murder with a firearm. Myriam and Robert Dienes were husband and wife, and Nachtman is the biological daughter of Myriam Dienes.
The investigation is still ac- tive and detectives continue to process the scene for further ev- idence.
Warrant Results In Two Arrests On Drug Charges

On Friday, August 21st, the Pinellas Park Police Depart- ment reported that after a three month investigation in which crack cocaine, prescrip- tion medication, hydromor- phone, and marijuana were purchased from 4055 76th Av- enue, Apartment #7, a warrant resulted in the arrest of Jackie Burnett, Jr., 33, and Stacy J. Dalesandro, 34.

Inside the residence, detec- tives said they found a meas- uring scale, several prescription medications, used needles and other drugs.
Burnett was charged with sale and possession of a con- trolled substance, and Dale- sandro was charged with possession of drug parapher- nalia.
Shoplifter Arrested After Returning To Store
On August 5th, at 2:30 p. m., the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office reported that a man entered AJ’s Vapor Store, 115 East Brandon Boulevard. He reportedly walked over to the E-Cigarette and vapor dis- play racks.
The man looked through them and put an atomizer and e-cig machine in his pocket, deputies said.
The store manager recog- nized the suspect as the one who had previously been in the store on July 11th. The store manager immediately con-

tacted deputies, who arrived and arrested 23-year-old Euris Gomez.
Early Monday morning, Tampa Police responded to a report of a shooting in the Uni- versity area.
Officers said Michael Howard, 35, was sitting in his car outside of the Univer- sity Oakwood Apartments at North Lantana and East 113th Avenue when an armed sus- pected approached and de- manded cash.
Officers said Howard tried driving away, but the suspect fired several shots, injuring him.
Howard was able to ap- proach a police vehicle nearby and told them he had been shot. He was immediately transported to a local hospital and is reported to be in serious condition.

The suspect being sought in the shooting was described as a Black male, thin and short, weighing 130 pounds with short hair.
Police Pursue Stolen

Burglary Suspect
On Sunday at 7 p. m., Tampa Police officers tried to stop a reported stolen vehicle at East Hillsborough and the I- 275 exit ramp. Officers said the driver fled and a pursuit was initiated.
The pursuit lasted 8 min- utes with speeds reaching 60 mph. Jerry Demetrius Gar- rett, 24, reportedly misjudged a turn and struck a pole at 36th Street and Webster. He jumped from the vehicle and fled on foot.
Garrett was quickly ar- rested and there were no in- juries reported in the crash.

Men Shatter Glass Door To Break Into Beauty School
The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office reported that early last Wednesday, two men smashed the glass front door of Guiti Premiere Beauty and Wellness, 1026 East Brandon Boulevard, entered the busi- ness and removed two com- puter hard drives.
After that theft and before 10 a. m. Thursday, deputies said a 5-ton air conditioner unit was stolen from the same busi- ness. It’s not clear if the two crimes are connected.
One of the suspects is de- scribed as white and possibly Hispanic with a heavy build and the other is described as a white male, 5’11” tall and weighing 200 to 210 pounds
These men reportedly broke into a beauty school and are al- leged to have stolen an air con- ditioning unit.
