The Girls Raised in the South (G. R. I. T. S.) Annual Bachelor’s Auction Charity Fundraiser was an amazing success! The evening was hosted by popular DJ Randall C, former WTMP Radio Person- ality and G. R .I. T. S. Auctioneer CaSandra Washington.
Nine of Tampa’s most eligible Bachelors put their best foot forward on the runway, to ever in- creasing cheers from all of the women in the audience.
In addition, guests were entertained with a melodious performance by local R&B Group Fanta-C of Too Smooth Entertainment. Ladies who were the highest bidder received a group date with their bachelor comprising of dinner, dancing, limousine ride and lavish gifts throughout the night. Over- all the auction was entertainment with a purpose, for all in attendance and deemed a successful char- ity event. (PHOTOS BY JULIA JACKSON)
Bachelors who enjoyed the group date were: David Burgess, David Powell, Ron Marks, Jr., Keith Bowden, Devin Smith and Khari Embery.
The ladies who won the auction were: Vhonda Ridley, Sophia Carballs, Crystal Wyatt, Shalita Parks, Linea Baker, Tanika Jackson and Julia Jackson.

Open House At Brewster Technical College
