Police say that rapper Chinx’s murder may be linked to the 2007 killing of Stack Bundles, who was his mentor, the New York Daily News reports.
Chinx and Bundles grew up together in the Far Rock- away section of Queens and started their own rap crew, Riot Squad, in the early 2000’s. But when Chinx began a five-year sentence in prison for drugs and robbery charges, Bundles linked up with Jim Jones and Max B.
As his career took off, it came to an abrupt end when he was shot and killed in Far Rockaway in 2007. The 24- year-old rapper was shot in the head and neck as he en- tered his apartment building. The shooter or shooters fled.

Alfonso Ribeiro said Wednesday that it's 'truly an honor' to be named as the new host of America's Fun- niest Home Videos.
The actor and game show host was unveiled as the new frontman of the classic ABC show by current host Tom Bergeron during the sea- son finale Tuesday night of Dancing With The Stars, which Bergeron also hosts.
In a social media post Wednesday, Ribeiro, 43, thanked Bergeron for his support saying the new gig is 'a dream come true.'
